If you watch carefuly JB is very close to cry in the entire scene. Look at her at 1:12 1.33 and when she said "yes; Iam". Just a few seconds later she broke down. This scene scripted was a sexual encounter until JB start to cry. Ilene love what she saw and keep it. JB & LH wanted so badly be together ; Two seasons apart was too much for these two.

In regards to JB and LH having a relationship beyond being "friends" or an intense "working relationship", I think we have to examine the nature of acting. Acting is instinctual. Great actors like JB act on instinct. They balance between harnessing it and at other times allowing instinct and "rawness" to take over. That's where the unscripted breakdown came from, she tipped the balance and it added such authenticity.
