Thanks for the writers/producers/actors of "And Then Came Lola" for being true to the womyn's community and having Lesbians play Lesbians!!!! WOW... what a concept...
And, while I agree that it is great to have positive cinema portrayals of our gay/lesbian community whether played by gay/lesbian/straight, there IS a difference when the acting is done by those who ARE what the acting is about!!!
It is real. It is genuine. And, it is a pleasure to watch...
They are showing this movie in the Les Gay trans MOvie Festival in Paraguay this year =) Im looking foward to see it!, I've been wanting to watch it for a long time now! ..
People in the theater really enjoyed it, all of them (mostly women, and mostly lez, I guess) ended out with a big smile in their faces, they looked pretty relaxed... and for that, and for the laughs and the opportunity to get to know such good film, specially the actresses, I wanna say: thank you. (loved the music, by the way)
