i just got a hexkey screw driver set off ebay for about $10, just cracked open my xbox and taken out the dvd-rom, you will need a T8 sized hexkey screwdriver to get inside the xbox its self

I know an easier way to take apart your xbox wihtout voiding warrenty, all you need is your hands and Thor's hammer,

1) take face off xbox

2)take off warrenty sticker.

3) smash open xbox with hammer

4)youve opened your xbox without voiding warrenty, after that put sticker back on xbox your done.

5) to put your xbox back together wellk you cant. buy a new one :)

can i just say that to take the top and bottom grill off, no tool is required, jsut put your finger underneath it and pull up, but as your pulling, pull 1 side up at a time, it worked for me, and it didnt break any of the prongs on the grill
