mad mario didnt even have his seat belt on, I agree this is dodgy but as an owner operator sometimes you have to take risks to keep the cash flow up... I would do this but I would have secured the ramps in place with dyna bolts and maybe a small pile of dirt at the bottom to reduce the angle.
Looks to me as if someone did poor planning on this project from the very beginning (contractor/home owner) And I bet he was just the cheapest and needed the work, that's why he is doing the job. Just my opinion.
Been operating excavators for over 20 yrs and in no way would I ever attempt this. There are just some people out there that can't see or understand the risks involved. When he's at the top of the ramp and he gets a guy to hold the bottom by standing on it!
hahaha I saw the same thing . it seems stupid 2 ton / 160 pounds I think ... !! it not really logical. the people do not think before acting sometimes
As a excavator contractor with over 16,000 hours operating experience here in USA I say "good job." The only thing that I would have done different would be to wear the seatbelt. That's alot of weight to have on your chest in a roll over accident.
No, he tried to back it up at first. This was his first time on such a steep incline and only started using the arm when he had to come back down. He also needed the arm for when he got to the top to help balance.
@roxsmitty That's right, any dimwit knows that u always have the arm out-infront when ur going up a heap/ramp to even the weight out and when you come down you use the arm outfront and scrape along the ground ;)
@Stmtrolleyguy No, Because when he would have slewed back around to the front, the BLADE would have hit the floor and maybe even tipped, so he did right turning around, always have the arm infront of you..
Fuckn dick head with no idea

You look at that and you'd be half tempted to try going up with the arm facing downhill, not that you'd get very far, lol.
