Funny the similarities between the fight of ZEUS AND ATOM with DRAGO and ROCKY BALBOA...timing,sequencing and intension are IDENTICAL!! lol

@renatoavatarian Rather the similarities are greater with the first rocky movie.

Both are about a nobody being challenged by the champ.

Both rookies surprises the champ, end up beating him but loses to popular vote.

Both use the same tactic of tiring out the champ and then beat him up.

Both champs are called greek god names, Apollo and Zeus.

Both have a special someone running up to each other to hug passionately after the match etc.

They obviously drew references with rocky.

@Devilsnightforlife Actually if look at some shots that were taken....you can clearly identify some resemblances....the way they move,swing around,those punches, Zeus beats the crap out of Atom till Atom hits back with a poweful uppercut.....man.!! Rocky did the same thing against Drago!!! IT WAS SO COOLLLL!!!!!

@renatoavatarian It was a nice tribute yep. Rocky's a big movie franchise to look up to, and they did it well. I'm sure if we rewatch it we will find more references. Not just in the fight but outside of it.

@Devilsnightforlife I think they should consider facing a REMATCH. Atom would probably have a very hard time for Zeus would raise two times stronger this time...The greater the enemy...the greater the victory

I swear...when the soundtrack hits that final low chord on the grand piano, to me thats like the note of victory, like the period after a long sentence..they can never go wrong by ending a fighting movie like that with the champion standing alone in the center of the ring as he takes in his long awaited victory, showered by the applause of millions and glorified by spotlight..BOOMMMMMMM....
