@kemot112 I think youtube does that for any video you don't "own." Since I'm using Firefox with Adblock, I can't see the ads, though. I wonder if they put ads on my Cathedral vids. Thanks for posting!
I was a big fan of the early stuff(1st LP,3EP's) and saw them live twice, but after that it seemed they'd lost their way a bit. But this is the best thing since '92! Absolutely no cheese just sheer pummel!
@kemot112 I'm shamefaced to say I haven't heard it. Rest assured that will be remedied via amazon damn quick! I am delighted to see great music reappearing Coffins,Hooded Menace etc. It's also great to see the old guard kicking butt! If Decomposed reform that'll really make my day!
@TheGubernot That's the spirit! :) Carnival is their best recording since The Forest Of Equilibrium, and IMHO overpowered only by The Garden, which is my personal favorite. To be honest, the aforementioned three is the only Cathedral stuff which I'm recently going back to, maybe I need to remind myself of the rest and something will change ;)
As for the reunions, Ozzy has said something about Black Sabbath recording again, so this is the one I'm dying to hear or see live.
@kemot112 That would be incredible! But I'm glad to say they've got competition! I haven't been so enthused by the Metal scene in years,away from eMpTyV there's a desire for honest songwriting again. I think people are sick and resentful of Big Media backed Novelty Metal and just want Bands to Deliver! It's funny how Recessions are great for Metal isn't it? Haha! Yeah going to re-evaluate Cathedral's back catalogue but how anything could possibly top the Soul Sacrifice ep I don't know! :)
