the tails are not docked? I think these dogs look so nice with the full tail.  I wish my vizsla's tail wasn't docked! These are beautiful dog!

Which breed is the best for a family with 3 childern youngest 5 years old and do they cast alot??

A female Vizsla by far. Male Vizslas are fantastic with kids but they are boisterous. My Kaiser is a superstar at the local school, all the kids love him and he loves the attention he gets. Weimaraners can be snappy and intolerant at times but most are great though. I've known some Weimaraners to snap at children when toys or food is being shared.

In terms of cost, Vizsla's cost more than Weimaraners because there's less of them around and in my opinion they're a better family dog. They're worth every penny. Don't scrimp and get a cheap one, get one with a family history.

Tails are only docked on working dogs, not family pets.
