watch the skin they putted on pleo. and watch the skin that was on pleo on the first video with the ceo ugobe. i would like to know why they sold a skin version that is disgusting and not real if you compare it to the first on the demo video of exposition. this thing make me angry

Yeah, when I saw the prototype I first thought that better, but he is so adorable, and this skin is more marketable to a wider audience...I don't blame them now...plus they will eventually come out with new robots...can't wait!

They don't grow physically, they grow in intellectual reasoning regarding their surroundings as well as operating system upgrades that is easy to do and how they are treated. For example, my Pleos when first turned could not pick up their feet well to get through carpet...now they have no problem...they are clumsy and slow at first.

I ordered one through Best Buy and was concerned it wouldn't arrive by Christmas Eve (but it did), so while I worried, I purchased one on eBay for more ($762 for two). From what I've seen since Christmas, you could luck out and get one on eBay for less than the initial cost of $349. :)
