  • Hello! My new short video about our air school :)

  • Yeah, exactly bacause of fuel we use Foxbats not only as training planes for students. We also do the patrol flights to find forest fires around our city and it is very effectively. I mean, you get in the plane in the morning, get off in the evening, and still have some fuel for tomorrow :)

  • What can you say about our winter flights? :) Temperature outside is about -25C, but it makes engines more powerfull and we can feel the far cry between density of the hot and cold air :)

  • Lol, Genna took me for a spin when he was based in Wolverhampton. He performed this landing, but not before snap rolling it through the trees on take off!!!!!!! Your head hits the canopy.

The Yak preflight briefing consisted of "if you want to be sick, please pull your t-shirt over your mouth and be sick into it, I'll buy you a new shirt but your sitting over the electronics and that costs thousands!" lol

  • Fine Video, we have a yak 52 too

  • best downwind to final i have ever seen! Be safe

  • those are some flying aces my friend. very impressive.

  • awesome

  • wow it allmost looks like its an rc plane....

  • Oh man, that's one hell of a nice soft field. I'd be having a ball there!

  • built for midgets.

  • Love this clip.

  • It sounds stupid, but I think that Russia itself has fewer Yakovlevs, than other countries :(

  • @Pastushok24 Nah, I wouldn't say that. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of Cessna 172s were outside of the US. I doubt it, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised.

What it shows is an interest in the acquisition of Russian Aircraft by people around the globe. Here in the states a decent used aircraft with tricycle gear and 150HP Engine will run about $40,000. Now for the same amount or just a little more, you can get a Yak-52. No contest, in my opinion, i'll grab the Yak!

  • You are lucky, because in Russia you can buy new Yakowlev`s M14P

engine for about $50,000. ONLY THE ENGINE! And I become very sad, when I think about the price of the aircraft as a whole :(

  • @Pastushok24 Ouch, yeah. Would you say that's the basic aircraft pilots learn in over there? I've always wondered. I knew Russia had an extremely health aviation industry, but at the same time the Cessna 172 is everywhere (over 44,000 made) I wouldn't be surprised if there were many in Russian Registry.

It's painful to look at new aircraft prices. Over here, they're putting in glass cockpits, an LCD screen screen with the gauges). That'll make a new 172 cost about $200,000.

  • If I understood your question correctly, no. It is not Yakovlev, as the first plane for young pilots we use Aeropract-22 Foxbat. At least in Krasnoyarsk (UNKL).

  • @Pastushok24 Yeah, you got it spot on. That looks like some of the Remos' and other LSA's I've seen stateside. The 52 might be a relatively easy airplane to fly, but it's not something I'd stick a student in and it's not as cheap on the fuel like that Foxbat probably is.

  • Would like to be taken on such a flight. Is that possible?

  • good video would be better if no music just the yaks engine sound instead

  • wow who needs an approach!

  • russian brother!!!POZDRAV ZA SVU RUSKU PRAVOSLAVNU BRACU!!!CCCC

  • It's a Yak Attack! Nice flying, nice aircraft.

  • excellent. a real joy to watch. thanks

  • also imagine that with a smoke system, would be intense

  • awsome vid, the controls look really responsive.

  • Great Plane=Great Pilot. The pilot is good!!! But the Yak 52 is better. It is one of the best looking and sounding planes ever. I get them all the time over my house in Australia

  • me too i get them over my house in Portugal!

  • i din't know you could squeeze that out of a yak-52.

  • Mad Russian! I love you! Anybody has not won you never! Peace!

  • That was really great show Ive ever seen for yak-52.

  • very nice flying that was impressive! wish i had my aerobatic rating now im sick of flying straight and level! i will soon be joining the aerobatic family

  • @mypooholeissore

i realy love flying but,i am not,and i will not.:)

  • @mypooholeissore That's great. I was just like you, flying straight and level got boring fast, until I got my aerobatic rating at 25. I bought a SU 29, and went on to compete in the national, best I got was 3 rd place. By age 40 I decided to stop the shows and competing, I had 4 crashes and many injuries. Aerobatics are a butt load of fun, I still do a couple here and there in my Yak.

  • Very nice flying

  • 5 stars to this pilot, learned to fly this a/c on its borders.....

    thANKS; Kai

  • that was great,,,if you need some ballast,,,give me a shout

  • flick roll after take off, and a half cuban to pop the gear out and land...that is fricken awesome!

  • Where was this taken?

  • I flew a yak today was a bit of fun :)

  • Love the flips on top. Video quality is very good for youtube. What settings on encoding do you use and codec to get such a good youtube video. I am still experimenting so far flv 320x240 at 400kbps work somewhat good. Interlacing still kills me. you can respond to my channel.

  • What is the name of the song?

  • Arpeggiator song from 1998, band Ensimi, Icelandic

  • whats the name of the song? suits it really well

  • wow awesome stuff!
