  • アニメと現実を切り離して考えろ。

    馬鹿な外人どもめ。

    いちいち2次大戦の事を騙るな。正義の味方気取りが。

  • Geez, I'm tired of people saying US did blah blah blah, JP did blah blah blah at WW2. Just stop pointing out about those useless who-is-right-who-is-wrong issue. Yes, Japan had pride. Yes, US dropped atomic bombs. Whatever it is, US won, JP lost. That's the fact. We do not know which is right and we will NEVER know the very truth.

  • yuki has been promoted to laundry...

  • Yes, sorry about my grammar, that´s because I´m mexican and I don´t have so much time learning english.

  • So 3:50 Teresa makes her appearence. The friction between Dessler and the Comet Empire grows.

  • Yuki/Nova managed to keep her clothes on this time.

(See the first warp in season 1)

  • Yes, but isn't Saito's tanga absolutely lovely?

  • well they were inocent but if their was no atomic bomb im sure alot more innocent people would have died

i think it ended the war as soon as it was used and that was reason enough to do it

i never liked the idea that a defeated enemy should die

    in the words of homer

those that fight then run away may live to fight another day

sides germany woulda got it way worse if theyda won against russia we were gonna ignited half of europe then land

  • hm... mal nachdenken. • 7:21 I knew i shouldn't have eaten those mushrooms.

  • The japanese don´t surrender because had too much honor and pride. And I no glad about the americans, because they use the atomic bomb and kill more than 130,000 inocent people.

  • If the Japanese didn't surrender because "they had too much honor and pride" How many would have died in an invasion of Japan?

  • @Raspu2

And how many Japanese would have died if we would have invaded.....The whole damn race....Russia would have invaded from the north and us from the south....... Japan would have been screwed...... How many millions would have died for the Japanese warlords....too many

  • Yes, thats true, but US kill civilians, not soldiers, that mean, kill japanase people to save US soldiers. The bombing to the cilvilians is a terrible war crime started by the nazis in Spain, and continued bye the allies. But the really reason of the bombs was that US want to defeat Japan before the USSR. I respect your poit of view, but I don´t share it.

  • @Raspu2 Yeah....to preserve the japanese culture and to prevent more deaths than would have been incurred by an invasion.Had the USSR invaded....the culture would have been lost and Japan would have been in worse shape than germany was.

  • You can´t know if the culture would have been lost or no, but you are maybe right, a USSR invation would have been worse, but it don´t justify US war crimes, a crime don´t justify another crime. And remember that the destruction of Berlin and many german cities was allies responsibility. Finally, the war is move by economic interest.

  • @Raspu2 learn some grammar, at least enough so that your sentences are intelligible.

  • @Raspu2 That's all fine, but how many innocent people did the Japanese kill in China and the Philippines and across Asia?

The Warlords of Japan who refused to surrender when all was already lost, and who had been warned that something terrible would happen if they didn't, bear as much responsibility as anyone.

The use of nukes was horrible but would the Japanese leadership have hesitated for an instant to use them on an American city given the opportunity?

  • She serves the meals in the cafeteria, she does the laundry... Obviously she didn't read the job requirements too carefully.

  • It's still only the 70's and Japanese culture.

In fact, at this time there were probably still many WWII veterans in their mid-50's still in the work force at this time, maybe even some who knew about and served on the real Yamato. I wonder what they thought of this show?

  • Didn't everyone on board of the actual Senkan Yamato die? None survived. I wonder why they didn't surrender earlier. I'm glad Americans came faster than Russians.
