@archthiago when i was taken out by a car, i went over the hood and slid on my face for about 10-15 feet. i had a frankenstein type scar on my helmet to show people that they should wear a helmet. As good as I am on a bike I was almost killed by stupid old woman who saw me coming. It's not about rider skill or bravery. It's about the other people on the road less skilled than us. Cruising is one thing but racing w/o a helmet? That's asking for something bad to happen IMO
