Most people are pussies when it comes to scary movies so rather than going in to experience the movie by placing yourself in the situation the actors are portraying, they brace and tell themselves the movie is stupid so they don't get scared therefore ruining the experience.

Please, nobody tell me that this is NOT the best horror movie of all times. I was watching it at 10am sunny Sunday morning and it scared the hell our of me. I spent 3/4 of the movie praying and had to listen to the Quranic verses for half an hour afterwards to calm myself. And yet my heart was jumping even after one hour when I was shopping with my friend. I have never enjoyed a horror movie like this before. I got exactly what you expect a horror film to bring.

there was this guy with a southern accent where i was watchign it and at the scene where the alarm kept on going off he would say "NO NO NO DON'T CLOSE THAT FRICKEN DOOR. OK YOU KNOW WHAT? THAT'S IT I'M LEAVIN', I'M DONE!" it was so funny i almost forgot to be scared, until that smiling family part that was fucking creepy. and also the part where the investigator is by that clock and changing the filters on the camera and the sisters popped up that was scary :D
