That is not true.. No way a car can clear 100m in 1.16.... The Cheetah is the worlds fastest land animal and it can reach speeds of up to 110 Km/h (70 mph) in short bursts. It can also accelerate from 0 - 100 Km/h (approx 60 mph) in 3.5 seconds. You will not find a porsche that can accelerate that fast... Shore it will reach a much higher top end speed..... but the cheetah will reach 100km/h before the car... and that will take a minimum of 3 seconds... so 1.16 is not possible for proche

the fastest 100m sprint a human being will ever be able to run is 8.99. A relay split time is not exactly based on them running 100m. They are running actually 85m-90m because the baton pass is in stride for 10m. These 10m don't count for the split time. Also the sprinters are already jogging, meaning that they'll reach top speed a lot faster
