this stuff is awesome for inside and outside offsets, other then that i would never use it for regular 90 degree beads, i like my paper metal probeads, but i dont use metal beads on inside 90's anymore, this stuff is easy to coat on inside offsets and leaves a perfectly straight edge
i have used it, there is no reason it cant be cheap. its all machine made. my guess is they think they deserve your savings on the mud. too bad becase some one will wise up probably the regular corner bead people will do it to them.
I like to use this on cathedral ceilings and inside offset angles. Other than that, no thanks. It's difficult to do long stretch measurements for those who work alone. Is there some kind of applicator that makes it easier for us that work alone? And only in the perfect drywall world do we see such nicely made cuts on the drywall corner as in this video. We all know that doesn't happen often and we use much more mud than we want to. I also like to use it in corners with large gaps after prefill.
The corner beads (inside and outside)is secured to the wall with mud, just like with regular paper or mesh tape. I have used it and it works great, much faster than regular corner bead and quicker dry times as less mud is used.

This is an exellent product but far to expensive to replace metal beading. I sell it.

Why does the Drywall industry still use metal corner bead?.......is this as easy to get a strait corner or will it go in and out? It sounds good.
