recently they started disabling hard drive/game installs if you get banned. I don't care what the person did microsoft has no right to damnage your console that you paid for.

Ban from live is fine, its against the tos for online play, ban'em from live no problem, but remove the systems capability and they can just go fuck themselfs.

well with over a million accounts gone, they're down to 19 million. wonder how much lower can they go? i'd say a lot. also, people make backups of their own games in case the retail ones get damaged. so to MS, they're protecting nonmodders by banning the modders who want to protect their own discs that they've paid money for. they're just using their bootloader to scan your firmware, and without second thoughts, you're considered a pirate. There's a difference in "Backup" and "Piracy". -___-
