  • thank-you for giving and sharing man ,,,peace

  • to raven455 I saw Jesse in Toronto one day after my birthday. after the concert was over he stayed at the back until everyone had a picture or autograph. He is soooo cool. He stayed for almost an hour and a half after a two and a half concert. Awesome comes to mind..

  • I had the chance to see this guy a couple of times live and he's amazing!

  • This is sooo cool...

  • Here in YouTube

    is the slow tempo

    lesson of this strum

    if you search this:

Rumba Catalana for Beginners - CFGStudio/Contemporary Flamenco Guitar Studio Toronto

  • Another Canadian gem.....

  • I am interested to know what guitar he is using......does any one know?

  • Well, I know he used to play a Takamine Classical Cutaway CP-132SC,(from googling) so, this could be it, but I'm definitely not 100% sure. I believe he also plays a conde hermanos, but that's probably for studio use. Dave

  • Thanks WIne2you.....I googled it and Takamine is $950 and and the other one Conde Hermanos $5600.....:-)

  • Persainlady, are you guitar shopping? If you're undecided, just get both:) Now, wouldn't THAT be nice? Take care

  • Jesse plays a William Laskin guitar in concert. Per his Facebook page.

  • @Graehamh

Is he any relation to "Grit" Laskin also a luthier ?

  • His fingers move like spider legs on the strings. Way too good!

  • it's seems so easy but this is worldclass guitarist Jesse Cook

  • It seemed too fast for me too but I gave it a shot little by little over a couple of weeks and I've got it. Its no where near the polished level JC plays, but one day... :)

Thanks for doing this, Jesse & CGG. I'd LOVE to see more - and would gladly pay for it.

  • Jesse Cook is great. His playing is amazing. I simply love his music. It's a chance to be able to learn from him. Thank you Jesse Cook. And thanks to those who builded up that concept.

  • well this lesson needs to be slow I could not get it

  • All the rumba is the same but mastering it is very difficult and of course with the right guitar.....

  • How interesting...just that sounds like several instruments together. And it's so so pretty. Could listen to just that for about 10 minutes without getting bored!

  • It would be nice to see a slower hand movement after he hits the golpe to start the rumba, I love the lesson, hope to see more from Jesse in the future.

  • to fast for me

  • WOW! do you have more such lessons?

  • I feel like Indiana Jones discovering the Ark of the Covenant!!! A mystery is revealed!!!!!

  • hahaha....i agree...i can't believe this video doesn't have any hits
