well things that are lame are usually called cheesy, and this video wasnt lame, i dont know the true definition of this word but. Anyways in the end what matters is if the video was good or not, hell it was better than those big budget hollywood RE movies and was original too, they did a good job with this low budget video, and watching a another 3d video like the one in RE redux would be cliché cause all video games have it, so cliché isnt any better than cheesy....= well made video
oh btw i saw ur RE1 directors cut playthrough (part1) but u disabled commenting on it, so i would like to say that i disagree with u on 1 thing, u said that the opening was cheesy but that statement is wrong, its a unique opening with actors that actually look like the in game characters, not like the shitty RE movies, i was disappointed that they didnt do another video like this one for the RE redux on gamecube, but i hardly disagree with you and dont think u can come up with a better argument
@xxxCRAZYLOVExxx Uh, calling something cheesy is an OPINION, not a fact, so it can't be wrong.
Secondly, badly done + overracting = cheesy. Jill's shoulder-guard-things are foam covered in fabric and her whole costume is 2-sizes too big. The enemies they're running from are are never shown. It's clearly low-budget and doesn't do a good job of hiding that fact, therefor it's cheesy.
That said, I'm not saying I disliked it, but ... yah, it doesn't get more cheesy than that.
ur lucky u got hired, and got shown how to use those programs during the job, btw that game REAL WAR, it sucks ass!!! i played it, but its not the artists fault, so dont feel pointed out
Well Real War: Rogue States got decent review scores from fans and critics. IGN: 7 Average IGN Reviewer Score: 7.3 of 33 reviews and an overall GS score of 6.2, which is okay (I guess)/passable/ or slightly above average on some scales.
If it helps any, R. Lee Ermey played the drill sergeant in Full Metal Jacket, along with a whole lot of similar characters over the years. If you happen to watch a lot of American TV and movies, you've probably seen him or heard his voice at some point.
It's cool hearing from someone who played Real War, tho--I think you're only the second one since I made this video.
I wish I was that lucky, getting a job at game company that is. All I do is just come up with an idea for a game, draw the characters, write up a story, draw some levels and once it's written down on pen and paper, that's as far as it gets!
cool , amm just asking is there any chanse that you culd go up and up from the video company you were in, and ending up in companis like squear enix, just asking ))
Nah. I might use music from a future Game Den episode (that's a hint =P), but not one I'm currently working on--I like to be a little more subtle than that =P
I bought the game because I remember it had something of a notorious rep as it came out around 9/11.
It was a cool game if you were really into handling all of the tiny details of an RTS, but if you weren't? Then you were probably turned off. The AI wasn't that great, but it was still enjoyable. I know I had fun with it.
Awesome! XD Some of those buildings you blew up were made by me. I think I also made a few of the skirmish maps.
As for the 911 thing, I'd totally forgotten about that. All it really came down to is that we had already pushed back the release date multiple times already and decided not to in that case. Some reviewer had a field day bashing us for it, tho, as if we planned it that way.
It's just so funny that you say these facts won't probably be very interesting and yet you started off by saying you were involved with developing games.....
Do you realize how different and cool that sounds? You're talking to a bunch of gaming fanatics and you say you've actually been involved in games! that by itself is worth the tag.
That is way awesome that you have your name in a game! I am officially jealous. I am downloading the Real War demo now. It looks pretty interesting to me. But only interesting enough to download the demo for now lol. But if it is a good demo then I will pick up a copy. Looking forward to part 2(of this video not Real War lol)
If someone "tags" you it means that you are supposed to give out 5 facts about yourself that most people don't know. Then you're supposed to "tag" somebody else.

you should review sonic 3, and redo the opening, with the black cat instead of sonic, and so on.

what the hell does tag mean
