What do you think about this game? I'm very interrested in buying it, though i can't find it in any store (not even in used games). But i will keep looking. The historie looks appealing. this game sometimes make me cry just remebering all the games we've played before and seeing how much spyro has grown and changed plus the music just tops it off

@SynateDeszeld i'm pretty sure they said that dawn of the dragon would be the last game in the legend of spyro series, heres hoping that i'm wrong and if they did say that then they change their minds
@cbfrakes Yes, it is the last one in the trilogy. But that doesn't mean they wont be making a new trilogy of a new history :P you know, now they've defeated the main evil head boss (Malafor or something)... He has been presen and told in both 1-2 and 3 of the trilogy.
But now when he's dead, maybe a new evil arises? An end of a trilogy, doesn't mean the fully end :D
@MrRallemulle i believe you on that and i also know that malafor was in 1 and 2 :), and the fact that they did leave it a cliff hanger at the end with spyro and cynder even if they didnt mean to, so i know there will be another spyro game :D

@MrRallemulle bad news, ive done a little research and there is apperintly another spyro game called the legend of spyro the dark spirit, which does take place after dawn of the dragon but its PC and it apparently is made by spore
@cbfrakes No you don't :P you can create a "Memory card" on the ps3. Google it, or look in your ps3 manual book x3 you can create it in the game section i think.. anyway, every ps3 can make the memory cards :P

@coolgamers21 Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets emotional when they think of all that! ^^ Spyro was one of the first PS1 games I ever played, when I was just a little kid, and since that first game was released, I've been waiting for him to grow up and be able to fly, and it's finally happened. T_T
I have been playing all the Spyro games, and the Legend of Spyro were the best 3 games in my opinion because i was getting tired of those too much childish games, they still rocks, but the Dawn of The Dragon in special was like God of War - Prince of Persia mode, and it was awesome! of the 3 my favourity is Spyro for sure and i really would enjoy(LOVE) a new Spyro game just like Danw of The Dragon for Playstation 2 or XboX.

i have played evry spyro from ps1 and ps2 ( this spyro version ) and the story is just too cool !!!! its all about the story in this game . and dude this movie is very nice done and the music is very good . btw all the spyro games has a very good story

Sadly I'm not 100% but i think both Spyro & Cynder die but The Dark Master lives hes just trapped under ground once again. I'm not sure though. Maybe Some one here would know for sure..

They didn't die, according to everyone. It makes sence that they didn't die though, because The Chronicler said that the "Death Book" as I call it, doesn't have Spyro and Cynder, and at the very end, they show Spyro and Cynder flying around in what looks like The Valley of Avalar. But, I'm also not 100% sure. I think that's why they are making the movie.

I Think The Previaos Games Of The Trilogy Of The Legend Of Spyro ARe Not Availble For X-box 360. & I Think Microsoft Eliminated Backwards Compatibility But I Wish You Best Of Luck. well from my exspearence coompareing the graphis they are exactly the same. nothing more nothing less an exact replica oh each other. those 360 shots looks exactly the same as the ps2 but thats just my opnion i notice no difference between the two.

It surprised me to cause I was like they are brother & sister but then the way it ended with I love you it surprised me plus someone here corrected me thankfully. But Ya Know I Wonder. They Did Not Defeat Malefor & wound up loosing there lives possibly it makes me wonder. Was all there missions really wourth the cost or was there sacrifices all vain. After all malefor lives & spyro did carry out the dark mission with out his knowledge causing world destruction. Any Comments?

i need help. i'm so close to having a 100% but i can't get the red crystal in the ruins level, the one behind the gates that have like no opening, do you know how to get it? Thank You!
up top theres a vent on the level you land on when you get the elemental crystal to awaken the dragon on the left go to the left of your screen look for like a round vent or what ever, change to spyro uses eart bolder bounce up & down & youll fall through after you brakew it open. theres the red crystal then spikes its a trap but you gotta do it turn to cynder make sure you select shadow breath bust the red crystal. then run fast as you can at each purple gate go under with shadow form~~C~~~
trigger the switch. you have to be really fas cause that spike wall is bearing down on spyro & cynder. open the gates & brake the items youe sposed to but you gotta be fast its no walk in the park. that is if your in the runes where you have to awaken the dragons
yay! i finished the game!!! Dude the dark master is easy..... Cynder addmits that she loves spyro and also they dont die and also Ignitus lives and becomes the new chronicler!! and the world is new and spyro and cynder are in love lol. i yhink its at twilight falls or avalar behind a water fall or hidden in the woods somewhere. i know there was a helmet hidden on an island in ruined lands but you have to fly around and find it but its a very very hard fight.And dont thank me mt friend i didnt do anything i just gave you a few pointers You did all the work. But it was no problem.

thx heaps! i just need help with one more crystal.. when ur facing the door head on and u fly to the left to reach the wind tunnel that takes u up and it drops u on a waterfall. I dont know what to do to get the crystal or how to open the purple mini gates.
Ok the last one thats pretty easy change to cynder look for a purple gate activate cynders shadow breath make sure you have plenty of magic energy then get real close to the gate go to shadow from by pushing r2 & direct cynder to the switch press O then rpidly press square. That will open the gate & also lower the part you need to activate the other gate. once lowered jumpon the box should be close to the gate then jump again & push O. Change to spyro change to electric breath~~C~~
Use spyros electriv breath on the switch on the right fully chargeing the switch then fly fas as you can pull cynder along to the left of your screen then youll connect to the other half of the switch triggering the gate where you get the last elemental crystal. & you then take that wind tunnl back to the dragons & awaken the final dragon then BOOM the gate opens & you have a nice cut scene. I warn you the next level is even more difficult but im sure you will beat it easyly. Have fun :)
Ok I need help in the dragon palace with opening the exit door and awakening the four statues... can someone plz tell me where all four of the crystals are? plzz. I love the flying thing in this ps2 game!! its awsm....i wonder what happens after i open the door.
well take your pick my friend fly to the right is where i start you have a boss battle with a creature that has like round boulder or club like hands. defeat him & two dragon lamps appears. light them with spyros fire breath then you will see another set of lamps on a round plat form attach to the vins with cynder change to spyro hold x down & swing around & light them then you will open another place & you will find the first elemental gem thingy to awaken your first dragon.
After you awaken each dragon you hop in the wind tunnel thing & it takes you to the next part of the stage you have to get the next elemental crystal or whatever. The rest is pretty straight forward. After you awaken all four dragons the door opens. I'm not telling you what happens after the door opens it would spoil all the fun heh heh :P

And i got it on tuesday before they closed up because they said they could just grab on from wednesdays sale. and thats how i got mine on ps2. whoa that battle brings back memories i died several times on that one heh. The trick there is possibly as many malee combos you can far as i know theres really no strategy just luck. Seems like what i'd do is watch the glems moves then jump to avoid being hit. His right hand. on your left of you screen is his weakness damage i think three times then cynder or spyro one say this chain is holding us down. go to the round thong press O then rapidly square i think.

They didn't die, according to everyone. It makes sence that they didn't die though, because The Chronicler said that the "Death Book" as I call it, doesn't have Spyro and Cynder, and at the very end, they show Spyro and Cynder flying around in what looks like The Valley of Avalar. But, I'm also not 100% sure. I think that's why they are making the movie.

well from my exspearence coompareing the graphis they are exactly the same. nothing more nothing less an exact replica oh each other. those 360 shots looks exactly the same as the ps2 but thats just my opnion i notice no difference between the two.

It surprised me to cause I was like they are brother & sister but then the way it ended with I love you it surprised me plus someone here corrected me thankfully. But Ya Know I Wonder. They Did Not Defeat Malefor & wound up loosing there lives possibly it makes me wonder. Was all there missions really wourth the cost or was there sacrifices all vain. After all malefor lives & spyro did carry out the dark mission with out his knowledge causing world destruction. Any Comments?

up top theres a vent on the level you land on when you get the elemental crystal to awaken the dragon on the left go to the left of your screen look for like a round vent or what ever, change to spyro uses eart bolder bounce up & down & youll fall through after you brakew it open. theres the red crystal then spikes its a trap but you gotta do it turn to cynder make sure you select shadow breath bust the red crystal. then run fast as you can at each purple gate go under with shadow form~~C~~~

trigger the switch. you have to be really fas cause that spike wall is bearing down on spyro & cynder. open the gates & brake the items youe sposed to but you gotta be fast its no walk in the park. that is if your in the runes where you have to awaken the dragons

Cynder addmits that she loves spyro and also they dont die and also Ignitus lives and becomes the new chronicler!! and the world is new and spyro and cynder are in love lol. i yhink its at twilight falls or avalar behind a water fall or hidden in the woods somewhere. i know there was a helmet hidden on an island in ruined lands but you have to fly around and find it but its a very very hard fight.And dont thank me mt friend i didnt do anything i just gave you a few pointers You did all the work. But it was no problem.

thx heaps! i just need help with one more crystal.. when ur facing the door head on and u fly to the left to reach the wind tunnel that takes u up and it drops u on a waterfall. I dont know what to do to get the crystal or how to open the purple mini gates.

Ok the last one thats pretty easy change to cynder look for a purple gate activate cynders shadow breath make sure you have plenty of magic energy then get real close to the gate go to shadow from by pushing r2 & direct cynder to the switch press O then rpidly press square. That will open the gate & also lower the part you need to activate the other gate. once lowered jumpon the box should be close to the gate then jump again & push O. Change to spyro change to electric breath~~C~~

Use spyros electriv breath on the switch on the right fully chargeing the switch then fly fas as you can pull cynder along to the left of your screen then youll connect to the other half of the switch triggering the gate where you get the last elemental crystal. & you then take that wind tunnl back to the dragons & awaken the final dragon then BOOM the gate opens & you have a nice cut scene. I warn you the next level is even more difficult but im sure you will beat it easyly. Have fun :)

well take your pick my friend fly to the right is where i start you have a boss battle with a creature that has like round boulder or club like hands. defeat him & two dragon lamps appears. light them with spyros fire breath then you will see another set of lamps on a round plat form attach to the vins with cynder change to spyro hold x down & swing around & light them then you will open another place & you will find the first elemental gem thingy to awaken your first dragon.

After you awaken each dragon you hop in the wind tunnel thing & it takes you to the next part of the stage you have to get the next elemental crystal or whatever. The rest is pretty straight forward. After you awaken all four dragons the door opens. I'm not telling you what happens after the door opens it would spoil all the fun heh heh :P

whoa that battle brings back memories i died several times on that one heh. The trick there is possibly as many malee combos you can far as i know theres really no strategy just luck. Seems like what i'd do is watch the glems moves then jump to avoid being hit. His right hand. on your left of you screen is his weakness damage i think three times then cynder or spyro one say this chain is holding us down. go to the round thong press O then rapidly square i think.
