  • why is my plane falling to the ground when i throue it i have full thraltal and i made hinges fog the elivatere please help

  • @theben543 Try adjusting the elevator trim up a little, and hand launch the plane into the wind. also push the trim on the throttle up to max for max power

  • i bought one for my bro's birthday today !! do you know how fast it can go ?

  • I got one of these and snapped off the wing and the top tail flap. I ow need to get a whole new tail section. Sucks!

  • I bought one. My acdc charger does not work. One of my buddies tried to fly it. He started at this stage and now has 12 nitro WOW planes. I guess I ended up with a piece of _ _ _ _.

  • This really sounds stupid, but did you push the charge button in when you tried to charge it. I have 8 battery's and 4 chargers. When we go to the field we can fly for 1-2 hours with 2 planes

  • yo put a small high quality camera in its cockpit view! get a small tv and put small airsoft guns remot scontrol for firing! that would be a bad asss!!

  • @magicstorm1 dam that is the best idea ever than it would be a rwewal dogfight

  • one more thing, do u guys actually make contact?

  • Not in this video but in others, check out mid air collision. Also a couple of weeks ago, the one plane flew through the tail of the other crashing it, but the attack plane kept on flying. Repairs are minor... all for the fun of it

  • where did you get the carbon reinforced peices?

I crash quite a bit and don't feel like going to the hobby shop every couple days.

  • Check out Dave Brown Products, he has the carbon fiber strips, also many hobby shops carry Dave Brown Products.

And yes we have made contact several times, see the vid mid air collision, in most cases the planes keep on flying, we have not had any head on collisions yet, but give it some time

  • very nice control over those skyflys.

Are you using the stock batteries or an upgrade for more power?

  • Stock Batteries, we have 8 charged so we can fly for a couple hours

  • Need to hang streamers on them! =)

  • How do you get an on-board camera on the plane?

  • I mounted brackets on the side of the fuslage then turn the camera on record and slide the camera in the brackets and tape in place. I will post a video from the plane. Note: videos from the plane not as popular as crashes or blowing stuff up. Search youtube for "exploding rc plane", very funny

  • i hate this plane mine dosnt turn left for some reason and the wheell brook off because it crashed on a house lmao IT WOULDNT TRUN:(

  • sotirio4, sorry to hear of your bummer experience. As you can see both these planes turn both left and right, but, we have had that problem in the past. The cause was not having the trim centered along with trying to turn into the wind. Once we brought the plane down and made adjustments, the problem was solved. You may want to consider setting the trim to over correct slightly to the left.

  • thank u but u no the lil nkots on the phin , i turned them a lil to much and the yellow thing under the cap broke in half, do u think hobby shops will give me spair ones.

and also my wheell broke off because of the plane not turning but whent straigh into the house:P

  • you can buy the replacement tail parts with with the little yellow caps for less than $15. The replacement front wheel is about $7.00. If you contact "coolest toys on earth, they can ship all parts at reasonable cost.

  • well actually i need help fixing it but wtv am gonna ask the hobby shop thx anyways

  • towerhobbies also sells all the replacement parts for this plane---i crash mine a lot and they are a great option for repairs

  • Do you have rubber bands on the surfaces to make them rebound?

  • The wing is held on by rubber bands, the black you see on wing and tail is carbon fiber tape.

  • I was actually replying to Sotiri04's comment about how his wouldn't turn in one direction. If he doesn't have the small rubber bands for the reflex of the surfaces. I bought one of these about two weeks ago and it's so much fun. I'll have to try the fiber tape for reinforcement. I have used duct tape in some areas for extra durability.

  • Could you advise what mods you have made on the two SKYFLYs? I see that a couple of mods have been done on the red barron, but would like a little more info on the mods.

The Skyflys are fun (and more importantly Cheap), but the wings are really flimsy. It looks like you have addressed that flaw very nicely.

  • Both planes have carbon fiber strips glued to wings and tail parts on both top and bottom. Go to Dave Brown web site for carbon fiber strips. The wood tail is a remake of the sky fly vertical and horizontal parts but with 3x the control surfaces. Wood tail parts also have carbon fiber strips glued to top and bottom. . In general for both foam and wood, if you glue carbon fiber strips to top and bottom the stiffness goes up about 4x

  • LOL!!! I need to get some buddies together and try this. Great stuff!!

  • Thanks, we had a blast making this video

  • Those are rly good planes

  • lol....awesome
