  • is that a gay club

  • Freakin Gaylords

  • Did you just say "bad movie"??? You should be smacked in the fuckin knee cap dude.

  • one word... CLASSIC

  • I love the movie and still watch it. Come on! Even Dave Chapelle did an homage to it when he did the dancing with the push broom scene at the end of one of his episodes;)

  • What are those fucking hats with the flaps called I want one

  • am i the only one that was totally n luv wit Shabba Doo???

  • Beat street barely had breakin in it but that Melle Mel solo was lethal and the acting was better.

I think Beat street had the N.Y. style (watered down)

Breakin had the west coast bugaloo flavor.(tamed)

Wild style had the worst acting but its better than both due to the emcees, djing, graffitti, breakin all being shown.

  • This movie is a classic!! Still watching it to this day!

  • movie was and is awsome

  • aaaah! do you know how many times that move has been bit strictly from this movie?!

  • this is a classic. So bad it's good

  • i never said anything about the quality of dance, just close your eyes and listen to the dialogue for 10 seconds.

  • Two Words: Beat Street

  • BTW, the dancers in this movie: Poppin Taco, Poppin Pete, Boogaloo Shrimp, and Shabadoo are one of the many pioneers in the popping culture. I'm sure anyone who has ever popped, locked, and b-boyed has heard of them and have seen the movie. You learn by watching them. I'm surprised someone ACTUALLY bashed the movie.

  • I agree. The movie wasn't that great, but the dancing was awesome! In fact, it was this movie that got me into poppers. I still like b-boys, but poppers are at the top of my list! <3 I love watching Boogaloo Shrimp hit and glide. And I especially love Poppin Taco - he's got the illest moves!! Someone should post the 2nd battle. =D

  • Shack is right... That movie did inspire a lot of people to dance or even try to break dance. I remember when my friends and I (at time) would watch it, we would want to dance. It was a fun movie. Not only that, it is probably the most remembered break dancing movie ever...

  • This movie is what got most ppl to TRY breakdancing. It was a bad movie, but had some of the best breaking

  • Classic. Turbo is the dude. And Electro Rock is fire too.

Holla. Marcus Rockwell. You know the name.

  • what the hell is all i have to say cause breakin' was the best breakdancing movie of its time. Old skool rules new skool cuz thats the roots rite there.

  • Heck yeah!!!! I don't why anyone would say something negative about this movie. It's super fresh and that dude who bashed it is WACK! Haha Thanks for posting it, but talkin trash about an old school classic like Breakin is just retarded. Turbo and OZone would serve you young fools

  • haha i love that movie the first and the second

  • This movie inspired many of us during that era, so don't hate and appreciate!
