  • @BlackRose879 sort of, i used to know the exact mechanics of it when i was a kid. but from what i remember it has something to do with having special molecules that react with electrical currents scattered around in between the glass. then when you pass an electrical current through it the molecules physically react to the current by "flipping" or some similar type of physical alteration in which the end result is that they dont let light through thus the over all outcome is a more opaque glass
