This is not a remake of Lynn Anderson's hit. It actually came before Lynn's version. This came out in summer 1970 while Lynn's didn't come out until December of that year. The original was by Joe South in 1968. followed by Dobie Gray a year later. This recording is largely based on Dobie's rendition. I can see why djmane 1 you though it was a cover of Lynn's but it's not. About 4 or 5 different artists including these girls did it before Lynn had her monster hit rendition.
