Ah the Danes, watching their hard earned money frivolously spent on their "classy and stylish" royals, had to endure their deficits year after year, and yet still cheer for them.
Denmark is a wonderful country. I went to Aarhus one summer on a vacation. Our Danish friends went to their club to reserve tennis courts. "Your interested in monarchy," said my friend, and he pointed to a rather large lady hoofing it on the clay, playing tennis with a Friend. On the other side was a guy with a beer belly running around the court with a friend of his. Outside, their car was parked, it was an 1952 or 53 American Buick with a crown and number 3 on it.
