Also their projects tended to cost lots of money that they didn't have. Their airborne radar and the way they organised their air defence radar was behind Britain. They never developed a decent heavy bomber or a good powered gun turret for aircraft.

Germany lost WW2 because of lack of preperation and resources, the corrupt and inefficient Nazi party regime and because they took on too many enemys. The position of Germany in the middle of Europe with no clear access to the worlds oceans and trade didn't help.

Germany was sandwiched by the Allies (US, UK, Canada, de Galle's free French forces, etc...) from west, and the Soviets from east.
Nazis lacked resources and manpower to win the war in the end. It has nothing to do with military technology, or super, super duper nazi secret UFO borrowed from aliens.

Always remember...this program you're watching is entertaiment...not historical research. Where there are facts, there is usually propondernces of evidence...testimony, photos, documents, substancial evidence. Not, I know a guy, who as a friend, that was told...etc. One last thing...if Germany had all these tricky dick UFO's and the aliens working for them...it makes the Allied Victory even more spectacular. So called "advanced" weapons don't always carry the day.
Another aspect you might consider for wars is the natural resources. Take a look at the US Civil War...the North had all the technical abilities for making weapons and all the resources. In more modern times, the US is two oceans away from potential enemies (WWI and WWII) Management, leadership, technical ability, political will, population, resources, luckly events. Winning depends on a lot of things. This "X country is so muched advanced"...is a crock of drek-period.

I'll tell you what Harry...I was at the Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL in '02 doing research for a book. the USSRC used to be Marshall Spaceflight Center. They have a bunch of historic rockets and aerospace equipment on display. The day I was there a group of engineers were visiting and checking the Apollo capsule they have there. They were studying the construction methods on the materials and how it was put together.
The reason is that no one then remembered how to build a valid moon mission capsule...the expertise had vanished over time from the moon missions. So, we, who first did the monumental mission to the moon had lost the knack. In other words, we were back to square one. Some of the people I know are really disappointed about the cancellation of the Orion ship and going back to the moon. One of them said he'll be gone before we get back there.

@samoht1977 Binary star systems are unlikly to have panets that host life. The complicated orbits around two stars cause huge differences in temperature and tidal forces would tend to shatter any planet. These orbits go from figure 8s upwards.

Regarding rockets, check out Robert Garddard in the US who developed the first liquid fueled rockets...but died in obscurity due to indifference by the US Government and ridicule by the "authoritative" NY Times. Oberth, Von Braun, et al read all of Goddards' technical papers for ideas.

Anyone heard about the HeS 1 jet engine!! Its first ran was in 26 March in 1937 and First engine that Frank Whitlle ran was in 12 April 1937! Both tests were s successful!
They said that the jet engine was a german invention which is wrong, the germans stole the plans from England. At the time of the development, the RAF didn't want to pull major funding off of mass produced prop planes and onto an experimental engine - they didn't want to take a gamble.
Thats what I was explaining but the Germans didn't have the most powerfull engines untill the ME-262. The ME-262 was faster than the Merlin engine, but it wasn't able to accerate as fast as the Merlin. The ME-262 also wasn't able to turn as fast as the Spitfire.
It ended up that the Germans indeed had more powerfull engines that the British! Remember the British had the same problems with developing jet engines as the Germans did!
THe RAF like the UK government have always gambled. If it wasn't for Rolls Royce inventing the Merlin Engine on their own accord the spitfire wouldnt even have been possible. Very good foresight. Germans very far more advanced than us and only months away from their own bomb. Lets not also forget the many German aircraft and stealth aircraft that fell into American hands
About the bomb, mainstream research has suggested the Nazis were on the wrong track w/ bomb research--had they been able to go on w/ that research track, they never would have built the bomb as they got basic things radically wrong. Also their projects tended to cost lots of money that they didn't have. Their airborne radar and the way they organised their air defence radar was behind Britain. They never developed a decent heavy bomber or a good powered gun turret for aircraft.

Germany was sandwiched by the Allies (US, UK, Canada, de Galle's free French forces, etc...) from west, and the Soviets from east.

Another aspect you might consider for wars is the natural resources. Take a look at the US Civil War...the North had all the technical abilities for making weapons and all the resources. I'll tell you what Harry...I was at the Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL in '02 doing research for a book. the USSRC used to be Marshall Spaceflight Center. They have a bunch of historic rockets and aerospace equipment on display. The day I was there a group of engineers were visiting and checking the Apollo capsule they have there. They were studying the construction methods on the materials and how it was put together.

The reason is that no one then remembered how to build a valid moon mission capsule...the expertise had vanished over time from the moon missions. So, we, who first did the monumental mission to the moon had lost the knack. In other words, we were back to square one. Some of the people I know are really disappointed about the cancellation of the Orion ship and going back to the moon. One of them said he'll be gone before we get back there.

Robert Goddard launched his first liquid rocket in 1926...so, he was 17 years ahead of the curve. Germany lost the war due to it's air ministry lack of leadership to protect it's projects. Listen to the accurate statements about Allied bombing...the Nazi's didn't have a "giant leap forward" in air defence. The UK had a patent for jet engines in 1928, the German's in 1935. Regarding rockets, check out Robert Garddard in the US who developed the first liquid fueled rockets...but died in obscurity due to indifference by the US Government and ridicule by the "authoritative" NY Times. Oberth, Von Braun, et al read all of Goddards' technical papers for ideas.

Actually, I saw something very interesting about how the Pyramids could have been made that, based on what little I saw, seems to be the best explanation. Check out Joseph Davidovits and the Geopolymer for more--no need for aliens to explain them.
Though I do think, based on the evidence, chances are good they are here, and have been for centuries. Just not actively helping us build things, ya know?

Did you mean last possible, or least possible? Because it sounds pretty plausible to me--carting up wooden molds and sand in small amounts, rather than 2.5 million multi-ton blocks. But hey, at this point, it's still a matter of opinion.

Sure, I get you. : ) About the 70-ton block, I didn't know that, but if true (and I'm approaching this with the doubt I approach everything with; no offense meant) then it puts a small crimp in Davidovits' idea. OTOH, it might be mixed construction. Or the big block needed trimming. Personally, I think Davidovits is onto something, because it hugely lessens the labor and time needed to make such big things. But yes, I agree with you that there is too much unknown to solve this.

Well, there was Klaus Fuchs...but as it turned out, he was a spy for the Soviets, despite being a German. And of course, Heisenberg was charged with making the Nazis an A-bomb, but who supposedly deliberately got their research on the wrong track.
And for wonder-weapons, from what I've read that was a generic label for advanced technology--jet and rocket fighters, etc.

Anyone heard about the HeS 1 jet engine!! Its first ran was in 26 March in 1937 and First engine that Frank Whitlle ran was in 12 April 1937! Both tests were s successful!

They said that the jet engine was a german invention which is wrong, the germans stole the plans from England. At the time of the development, the RAF didn't want to pull major funding off of mass produced prop planes and onto an experimental engine - they didn't want to take a gamble.

Thats what I was explaining but the Germans didn't have the most powerfull engines untill the ME-262. The ME-262 was faster than the Merlin engine, but it wasn't able to accerate as fast as the Merlin. The ME-262 also wasn't able to turn as fast as the Spitfire.

It ended up that the Germans indeed had more powerfull engines that the British! Remember the British had the same problems with developing jet engines as the Germans did!

THe RAF like the UK government have always gambled. If it wasn't for Rolls Royce inventing the Merlin Engine on their own accord the spitfire wouldnt even have been possible. Very good foresight. Germans very far more advanced than us and only months away from their own bomb. Lets not also forget the many German aircraft and stealth aircraft that fell into American hands

About the bomb, mainstream research has suggested the Nazis were on the wrong track w/ bomb research--had they been able to go on w/ that research track, they never would have built the bomb as they got basic things radically wrong. Others, of course, have said different things. My granpa was seconded to the OSS in WW2 to look into Nazi bomb research and he always said their program was hopeless. He was a Manhattan Project researcher/engineer, so I believe him.
