It doesn't matter if you're in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Gaurd whatever. Whether you're in the Infantry, Supply, a Cook whatever. What you guys do is absolutely amazing. No, TACP is NOT AFSOC. They have the OPTION to roll with SOF only if they meet requirements. Those that roll with SOF are JTACS. A normal TACP does not. Don't spread false information.

lol last I checked everyone is doing that in iraq right now lol cept SOF and SOF JTACs....and even those guys ops tempo is slowing down. And it aint the TACPs fault they aint dropping bombs in iraq lol you might want to be looking for your army commanders for those answers.
The PAST test for CCT and PJ's is 2 20 meter under water swims with a 3 minute break in between, rest for 3 minutes then swim 500 meters in 14 minutes or less, rest for 30 minutes, then run 1 1/2 miles in no more than 10:45, then rest for 10 minutes, 6 pull-ups in 1 minute 3 min. break, 45 push-ups in 2 min. then a 3 min. break, 45 sit-ups in 2 min., 3 min. break then 50 flutter kicks in 2 min. You will do this test 2 times prior to INDOC and take it again as soon as you get there
they dont do flutter kicks in the PAST anymore and PJ'S have to do the 500 in under 11:30 and the 1.5 mile in 10:22 and these are all minimums if you want to excel Ive read you wanna be sub 9 in both of those fields, I cant decide if I wanna be a marine or join the AF and go for tacp or PJ

i'm just saying you guys do your stuff from a distance or not at all.
it's not exactly being 'brave' or 'staring death in the eyes', is it?
what i'm saying is that the chair-force, for the most part, does fuck all.
i have yet to see anyone from that branch, beyond the pj's, do anything requiring any amount of bravery.
i can speak for them being useful, but not brave in most cases.
