  • bang tidy\.../

  • blackmore is god end of story and anyone who says otherwise to ritchies face has guts

  • I wonder how many people in those days went to the hospital (after the concert) to have a souvenir removed.

  • I wonder if King Diamond and Hank Sherman were at this gig? That would be really fucking cool if they were!

  • Ronnie James Dio = LEGEND

  • His hammers are so heavy and direct you would think he picked them..hard.

  • Love this shit! I saw Rainbow on Rising tour in San Jose 1976 and it blew my face out!

  • PRICELESS.

  • Great footage. Two legends of the stage. RIP Ronnie!

  • excellent ! thank you

  • Ritchie is a LEGEND!!

  • Blackmore at his best. It's not the guitar it's the man behind it ! Pity he was a control freak.Rainbow should have had Pink Floyd status, but Blackmore crippled them with line up changes.Still the best in his day.Young kids ridicule his style compared to modern guitarists but they forget without RB there would be no Satrianis or Malmstiens etc.Dio top man too.

  • @strongarmofthepaw Really? What kids? They have to be braindead to ridicule Ritchie in any sense whatsoever. I know every shredder from the past 25 years and I take Ritchie over anyone of them... Incredible chops, outstanding taste and feel, maturity and the most incredible stage persona ever (only comparable to Eddie Van Halen and Pete Townsend, in my opinion, who are incredibly charismatic on stage).

  • The Fender Stratocaster The Timex watch of Guitars. Takes a lickin.....

  • This is the way I loved Ritchie as a kid;scraggly, thinning hair, mutton chops, looking totally un fashionable and like a total madman, playing like one as well.He was so cool until he started trying to be cool with the commercial stuff/image.

  • MICKEY LEE SOULE - KEYBOARDS

    CRAIG GRUBER - BASS

    GARY DRISCOLL - DRUMS

They only helped to record the first Rainbow-Album, just because they were available as members of DPs opening-act ELF. They never played live with rainbow, so they also were never recorded (exept for the studio-tracks).
