Blackmore at his best.It's not the guitar it's the man behind it ! Pity he was a control freak.Rainbow should have had Pink Floyd status, but Blackmore crippled them with line up changes.Still the best in his day.Young kids ridicule his style compared to modern guitarists but they forget without RB there would be no Satrianis or Malmstiens etc.Dio top man too.

Incredible chops, outstanding taste and feel, maturity and the most incredible stage persona ever (only comparable to Eddie Van Halen and Pete Townsend, in my opinion, who are incredibly charismatic on stage).

This is the way I loved Ritchie as a kid;scraggly,thinning hair,mutton chops,looking totally un fashionable and like a total madman,playing like one as well.He was so cool until he started trying to be cool with the commercial stuff/image.
