Depends on which sign language you are using and who the target audience is. If your target audience uses signed english, you would want to use more "mouthing" the words with signed english. If it is ASL, then you wouldn't. Deaf and Hard of Hearing audience get to choose which they want according to their mode of communication.
@silvertiffany This is not particularly true. I know a lot of my friends like it when I "mouth" the words, even when I'm signing straight ASL. Though you're right, it all comes down to the preference of the consumer. Since this is a Youtube video, reaching a large audience, I've received quite amount of feedback asking me to mouth the words as she sings them, so they can get a better idea of the flow of the music/lyrics.
wow your signing is amazing, i have to sign awake and alive by skillet in a few weeks for my ASL 1 class and watching you sign to all these great songs has really inspired to pratice more and get better at my signing :D
@RebaRocks14 That varies regionally. One of my teachers encouraged "lipping" words while we signed, while another didn't. It varies by person and location.
i like the words being mouthed you did a great job

@RebaRocks14 some encourage the "lipping" on the account that some deaf people can read lips it can help them better understand you
