im dealing with one and its a man i don't want his friendship nar do i need it he comes to me every morning wanting to talk i really have nothing to say to him he has been a slacker at work and he is too im 2 times his age and have nothing in common with him he was born in the early 80s and can't think past 1980 and don't even know US history i was born in 1962 and i don't want his friendship
Really well thought-out. I'd just toss one other kind in there - the non-committal coworker. The one that just doesn't care, but still swoops in and manages to accept credit. You do the work - they get the credit. I don't encounter that at my current job, but I sure did at my last job!
@SlicKitty73 Yeah, credit grabbers can be annoying as all get out. This type of coworker really doesn't show appreciation for other peoples efforts and contributions.
OMG...I have 3 loud mouths at my Job. Guess what? My Manager is a loud mouth too, and I somehow don't fit in the group, and they see me as a stuck up person all the time and not so outgoing as they are. -_- ::SIGH:: I need a new Job.
when it comes to chatty cathys and space invaders (which I really hate!) you have to be totally FAKE to these bitches (but the space invaders are the ones that really do scare me)...I wonder about the space invaders, like their background (were they involved in some perverted shit back in the day, etc.) noone is supposed to invade your space at all in the workplace, but they just don't get that...but thanks for talking about this b/c it does happen
@PrettyNailsbyErica , oh yeah, the space invaders creep me out, too. The problem is that they have no sense of personal space boundaries. And you have a point that some of them might have really harassed other people in past situations, but they are so unaware that they just don't get why people are creeped out by them.
what about the ones who don't get the fact that you do not like them, and who also come into your space? some crazy bitch did that yesterday...I'm so glad I have vacation next week, I can regroup and then come back in August with a whole new perspetive lol...I guess I'm not really griping too much about what she did because I dont care about where I am anymore, right now I'm just focused on moving the hell outta NYC and starting anew somewhere else
@PrettyNailsbyErica, yeah, the ones who seriously don't get that you don't like them are very ANNOYING. With these people, you have to resort to reporting them or saying a few choice words to them, so that they get the message. I just start cold shouldering them until they personally choose to not come anywhere near me.
wow girl u nailed it 100%! the chatty cathy and space invader ones are THE MOST familiar to me because there are coworkers at my job who do just that, and let me tell u it is annoying as hell. The good thing is that I've gotten into the habit of stopping these types of behaviors from them. Oh and lets not forget about attorneys who think that just because they are attorneys that they can be rude to their subordinates.
LOL, yeah. I sympathize and empathize. There is usually one of the type in any workplace and you usually can't get them to shut up no matter what you say or do. Also, thanks for subscribing. I am probably going to do another video about other types of annoying coworkers.
Great video! I could so identify with your depiction of "the Loudmouth"...Lol, "overly assertive and overly opinionated" ha ha yep.. Used to have to sit opposite one before I got the sack (thank God..!), ...He seemed to always feel the need to comment on literally anything I said, ..coming out with some of the most inane crap which he then thought necessary to broadcast to the whole office...
