Good upload, If you wanted to see Powergirl sing "I'll Cry Instead" you had to be on the corner of Lavalle and Florida streets in Buenos Aires during March of 2010. Then you could give me applause for it. I love singing this song.
@charly9927: luckily there has only ever been one Michael Jackson and he was already dead when you made this unnecessarily stupid remark- so cannot live to achieve more greatness than he has.I love all of the Beatles-songs and I love Michael Jackson and 2 years onwards still cry for him. Please be more respectful and sensitive with remarks.R.I.P-MJ,John and George- the world loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah, and u know that can't be bad.Love, peace to all,and give peace a chance-yes also youCharly9927
Don't get me wrong. I love "Can't Buy Me Love," but I sure wish they could have found a spot for this song in the movie. I absolutely adore "I'll Cry Instead." One of my favorite Beatles songs. And it seems so effortless.
The same John Lennon who performed this song also sang the song Imagine and divorced his wife so he could get involved in a race mixed relationship with a super ugly divorced Asian Female from Japan 10 years older than himself. It is hard to imagine how far down hill some people can go after having achieved so much. Liberalism will do that to a person.
i don't agree with that but that's your opinion so i respect that.
i just can't fathom why race mixing is such a big taboo since we are all the same species. it's not like a dog fucking a horse, which would be funny but wouldn't be right.
WHY THE HELL ARE YOU LISTENING TO A BEATLES SONG THEN? THEY WERE THE BIGGEST LIBERALS GOING.
AND YOU SAY LIBERAL LIKE IT'S A BAD THING. WHAT WORD COMES FROM LIBERAL? LIBERATION. I GUESS YOU FASCISTS ARE TOO THICK TO REALISE THAT BY PUTTING A NEGATIVE SPIN ON LIBERALISM THEN YOU MAY AS WELL CONDEMN LIBERATION TO EXPRESSION ON EVERYTHING .
ALSO, YOKO ONO IS A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN. AND I'M PRETTY SURE SHE IS PRETTIER THAN YOU ON BOTH THE INSIDE AND HE OUTSIDE
@LittleMissMoops The word liberal comes from being liberal with the truth, in other words bending the truth which is the same thing as lying, just a nicer way of saying it. Ono was ugly and everyone knows it, even she knows it. Liberalism was responsible for the early demise of both Lennon and Harrison although I don't have enough space to explain it here, certainly there was a lack of good judgment on the part of both of those two ex Beatles. Outside of music the Beatles were idiots.
@MrBEB123 How were they idiots mista? They were pure geniuses in music and out of it. I respect your opinion but I don't see were you are coming from. They were quite smart.
@ PopandFresh710 did you dub this over with I'll Cry Instead? I was just curious because I have the movie Hard Days Night on DVD and have seen it many years ago before VHS and DVD even existed and that scene where they run out of the studio contained Can't Buy Me Love, not I'll Cry Instead. Not that I'm complaining, I was just curious.
This is my FAVORITE song on the album. I'm only 14 but I remember when I was younger, like around 11, I used to make my dad play this album [or beatle's one] in the car all the time and this song was my favorite! I would listen to it like 15 times in a row or something and I missed it.

John and George where did you two go wrong? Thumbs down on these two and their race traitor ways. Their mongrel children do not benefit the White race.
@princesschrissy555 Nothing. I am a racialist which is somewhat different. Racism is a sin only to a liberal and a liberals point of view counts for nothing.
It may be me, but I enjoy these lesser played songs: (i.e I'll Cry Instead, This Boy, Things We Said Today, etc.) so much more than the later stuff that seems nothing more than filler and self-indulgent like the White Album and Abbey Road. Call me crazy...
It would be interesting to know what would have happened if this had been kept in the movie, as originally intended. I love "Can't Buy Me Love" but I don't know why it needed to be showcased, twice.
@toryst478......yes you are correct. John Lennon wrote this song for the movie A Hard Days Night, but director Dick Lester didnt want it. So they used "Cant Buy Me Love" twice in the film. Also, when the Hard Days Night record albums came out, the U.S. version of this song has an extra verse in it, compared to the British album release.
@charly9927 100 Micheal Jacksons, please. Didn't one do enough damage to children and music!?!? It only took one Micheal Jackson to piss off Paul, ruin their friendship and go behind his back and buy the Beatles' musical catalog! Anyone who feels that MJ is better than the Beatles must have some sort of mental, social or emotional disorder! :P
You just gained my respect!!! Totally agree with you!!! Every song out there by any entertainer will never get or keep my attention like The Beatles have since 1964l!!!
@charly9927 Tell that to my friend he keeps sayin' michael jackson's better than the beatles, I'm like bullshit, man, bullshit! Well he likes the beatles also but he just likes MJ better.
This is a great illustration of John's intention for the song.
Its about fleeing the responsibilities. In terms of the burdens of fame. But also how he was sleeping around why they were touring. Which is well known. Its a forerunner to the song "Help". Both rare undetected glimpses to his emotional state during the touring phase of their career.
If this had been in the film like this, I suspect it would have been detected more than Help was. With the song almost illustrated by escaping footage. Unique from The Beatles performing love songs to no one in particular.
This is sooo cool!!!!!! I know they were supposed to use this song here instead of Cant Buy Me Love, but I never knew how it would work with this scene. Both sound great!!!!!! :DDD
was cant buy me love in the original one? cuz i know that this is in the beginning of the new one. but i don't recall cant buy me love being anywhere else in the movie.
