No. I started wasting time on youtube relatively recently due to RSI. I used to play the guitar until my tendons rebelled. As far as I know, you can still upload a video at your pleasure. Some have adverts; some don't. That's also down to choice - but no-one will watch something if it sucks. Am I less authentic for actually supporting the idea of people making money through advertising on/next to their videos? If it doesn't affect content then; so what?
