  • His '91 tour with Clapton redeemed him vocally as a great live act.

  • Dark Horse rules

  • Even with a bad throat because of laryngitis, George Harrison madea SPECTACULAR show. That yes, music is real.

  • He still sounds great even with the hoarse voice...

  • I read somewhere critics called this "the dark hoarse" tour due to his strained voice. I also read his "Dark Horse" album was an album that should never had happened. But for those who were privilaged enough to see George back in 1974 I salute you!

  • smoking too much... sad. miss you george

  • ME VUELVO A MORIR <3

  • Ten years now -- thanks for the nice work, and a chance to feel a live performance. Thanks!

  • I like George's voice with some rasp in it. It's real, and raw. Great tune.

  • Reviews? Reviews from what asshole to the next? It was George Harrison and his music brings tear to eyes and joy to hearts. You know it.Reviews..pish posh. Stephen D.Deerfield Beach ,FL. 10/14/2011

  • I saw him on that 74 tour. His singing voice was a little disappointing, but hell, I was in the presence of George freakin' Harrison. The only Beatle I ever saw live. I still have a chance at catching Paul or Ringo live someday. Paul's going to outlive everybody and be the wealthiest man in the history of show business.

  • aw man! amazing! I love george.

  • That is the year that I was born!!! : ( I never was able to saw him live. I'm Beatles fan #1

  • I was also at the Fort Worth, Texas show 11-22-1974..fantastic!

  • I was also at the Fort Worth, Texas show. What a great experience to get to see George Harrison my favorite Beatle.

  • I saw George at the Cow Palace in November 1974. I heard he was having vocal difficulties before he got to SF but he sounded fine that night. It was festival seating back then so we ran right to the front of the stage when the doors opened so it was a birds eye view of George from about 20 feet away. A night to remember....

  • You have no idea how I love this man... love him with all my heart!

GEORGE WE MISS YOU!!!!! But I know that Krishna had bigger plans for you!

  • I can't believe it man. I was at this concert. I hope you get around to posting Billy. He rocked.

  • If George had toured anytime in the last 20 years of his life, it would have been sold out shows across the globe. Sadly, this tour soured him on live performances for good. Not for our good though. Poor guy. He was really struggling to sing for a whole tour.

  • I like it, it shows his work ethic and integrity. How many of today's artists, would go on with the show or resort to lip syncing? Its painful to hear only in that I wonder if it was hurting him.

  • Thank you, my friend, for posting this. I was there. Ft. Worth, 1974.

Greetings and Best Wishes from Texas.

  • love the flute :D

  • it is a shame he didn't do any more tours of the states as it would have been nice to see in sing with a healthy throat. He should have postponed the tour until he got his voice back

  • poor George- he cared about the world so much he sacrificed so much- his sane peaceful quiet life he wanted, his health, his fame- the world needs more people like George

  • As much as I hate to say it, you can kind of see why this tour received the harsh reviews it did at the time--musically, it sounds great but George's laryngitis-stricken vocal is just so painful to hear. He *really* should've waited until his voice healed before embarking on a major US jaunt. But at least the audience looks like they are having a great time, contrary to reports of people walking out. I'm glad they had fun and I do like the musical backing--especially the flute.

  • @mtopper66 He is on key anyway but his voice is weak, never the less, it is George Harrison. Who wouldn't give a pretty penny to see a Beatle now? That's how I feel anyway.

  • I was there 4th row center stage, my boyfriend at the time took many pictures/ slides, but were lost. Was an excellent concert, I will never for it.

  • @1maddogone - What a pathetic liar, you were nowhere near this concert. You will never forget it, more like you'll never remember it because you weren't there. Go tell your lies on another site, this one is for enjoying music.

  • @1maddogone If You DO Mean It, You Are SO Lucky!!

  • Beautiful, makes me really miss him ;(

  • George waas so amazing- wuiet- yeah right- he just knew exactly waht to say and didn't have to use fillers. a musical genius kind caring spiritual man. we miss you George!

  • Hare Krsna, an absolutely wonderful version! We need more music like this!
