@scholion my goodness you are need to read a book! why is Islam in quotation marks? Islam is a religion (you could arguably put scientology in quotation marks however) and that is a fact.
If you knew anything about history you would know that Muslim scholars and mathematicians have contributed huge amounts of knowledge to mankind. Furthermore have you ever seen the beauty of the architecture in centuries old mosques, they are easily on par with beautiful cathedrals in Europe. Educate yourself!
