its weird but ide never heard of the snowdrop until the day we went filming, this is all extra footage shot during the ferry scene (from our highlander rogue warrior 2 movie) :)
Thanks. I downloaded a version of Holly singing this off I-Tunes but unfortunately it wasn't this version. I'll keep looking. Great video, I must say. I watch it over and over again.
Nice vid. One question though - did you manage to see the sign on the quayside as you exited the ferry? "Welcome to Liverpool - the dogshit and broken glass capital of Europe".
this version of the song was released in 1989 just after the Hillsborough Disaster to help raise funds for everyone that suffered and for the families of the 96 who never came home.
me singing back in 1998 (that comment was in refrence to) "lenticel" asking if i was the guy who sang the "La La" song on a diffrent video on youtube :)
Alright fella just had to ask by the way is this your work too;Fooockin Kirby La La (kirby smackhead)I relise it's quite old but made me laugh!-you're right fuckin smack heads are everywhere.
Ah, Tuesday - it was freakin' cold and windy and that's some great footage you shot there. Does that ferry stop at woodvale or seacombe nowadays? I thought they banned the saveaways from it too. Is that the Hillsborough tribute CD? I though I recognised Holly Johnsons's voice. Makes a great pop video, and nice touch at the end, with the old pictures. It's a winner. ;)
Ah, that's right, I remember now. heh heh. Yeah, woodvale is where the air cadets go flying in the chipmunks. The last time I went on that ferry - around '96, instead of going directly across, I got took on a "guided tour" of the whole Liverpool Bay area - a freakin' hour just to travel 4/5 of one mile!
also saveway's, what you do is get an "all zones" then go to the ferry tickett office & show them it and they just give you a ticket, cos it does 3 stops (not A to B) you could basicly stay on it all day anyway if you just bought a ticket lol

it needed more pans of the ferry (but due to the amount of people i had to keep faces of the cam)
i was prity suprised at just how packed it was
did you see the end of the credits ?
starring 100's blur'd scousers LOL
also could of been a bit more steady with the cam but it was megga windy :'(
