  • Hi, this is the first video I've watched in your series of videos. I can relate to your statement of sitting next to someone and not craving what they are eating and how that can be a revelation. I have the same. I didn't a year ago, when I tried to get rid of some of the foods I know were not good for me. That has changed though. I'm going to watch more of your videos in the future.

  • @gr8vibes2 yes celery has few negatives. Actually most vegetables have mostly positive benefits, very few have negatives. Thanks for dropping by.

  • @overwhelmingtraffic I think iceberg lettuce is about as negative free as you can get. Celery would be right up there, avocado too, carrots not too low either.

  • Yes, I'm still on my fast. Going to do 30 days if all goes well. My last day will be August 20th.

  • @overwhelmingtraffic That's great. You are doing very well. I am going on a cruise in December. I looked at my log book that I've kept over the years. I always diet before a cruise or other vacation event. This time is very different. Now, I plan to eat mostly vegetables and fruit when I end the fast. I believe, I will continue to lose by eating this way. I plan to cut out the meats, pizzas, dairy and breads.

  • @wahopin Wow that is a little freaky. I too am going on a cruise in December. small world! It will be my first and I am really looking forward to it. I have not completely decided what I will be eating once my fast is over, but I will certainly aim to be a lot more healthy. Almost certainly it will be a lot more vegetable and fruit since I am a little ashamed to say I had virtually none of those in my "bad days!".... :)

  • @overwhelmingtraffic This will be my 15th cruise. Hubby and I are hooked. We love it. Where are you cruising to? We are going to the Eastern Caribbean from Florida. I'll be eating crab legs and salads. :-)

  • @wahopin wow 15th cruise. We have had family you have cruised before and it sounded great. We are leaving from Sydney and cruising around for a week I believe in some of the islands to the east of Australia, it's going to be fantastic and relaxing I think!

  • Also, for those who drink fruit juice and aren't seeing any changes, yes try juicing more veggies. If it's too much, at least try to juice less fruit & dilute your juice with some filtered water to cut back on the sugar. You can also try this with your veg juice as well if the taste is too overbearing for you. I usually add water to my fruit juice because it's so sweet. I add water to my lunch juice too because while at work, it fills me up more.

  • @mGaUuRiL For sure, more vegetables is the key. Good idea about the adding of water. I actually put ice in my juice because I like it colder, so I am sort of doing that anyway.

  • I am SO happy you're getting more celery into your juice! I usually put about 6 sticks in my lunch and dinner juice with carrot, spinach, tomato, and broccoli. The taste doesn't bother me a bit. Grapefruit on the other hand, how does that taste juiced? I can't stand it alone as a fruit, is it better as a juice?

  • @mGaUuRiL Yeah starting to not mind it at all. That and spinach are no too bad. Grapefruit juiced tastes about the same as a fruit, sorry can't tell you it tastes different as a juice. With that said I don't mind it too much at all. Anyway keep up your good work! And as always thanks for the feedback and dropping by.
