Oh, and judging by video, the glass itself has already cracked and the mercury and argon has already leaked out. If there was still gas in it, the bulb will light.

This might just be the wrong kind of bulb, but I've seen them light up fully for several seconds. But i've also seen the tube burst.

And plasma bulbs are even more violent in the microwave! =-)
