Oshkosh MRAP same capacity as $140,000 armored Humvee but costs <$500,000. Still, US and Australian ISAF in their modern MRAP/JLTV's getting KIA and casualties. Cannot take RPG, 75mm rocket attacks and IED's by Taliban. New US JLTV in 2011 will cost $2.5million each. Same as Aussie JLTV. US taxpayer's getting shafted again.

They are M-ATV's . Mine resistant all terrain vehicles. They are proudly made in Oshkosh WI. (not by me though, i just see them driving down the street all the time)
