I first heard this from an Arena documentary called Tales of Rock 'n' Roll - Heartbreak Hotel about the song itself which was on BBC2 back in 1993.
My dad taped it at the time but the tape has gone walkies and they haven't shown it since.
I wish BBC Four would play all 4 parts of Tales of Rock 'N' Roll again because they were fab!
