Didn't drifting come from Japan? I've seen and heard japanese drift race commentators say FWD can drift during a drift race. Funny thing is most of the time, they're commenting about the Honda Civic. I'll admit it's difficult and the way you have to make a FWD drift is nearly backwards to how you make a RWD drift, and is much similar to powersliding, but it's still possible in its own right.

Sliding or not, to actually make a FWD move as if it's a drifting RWD is pretty good. So what that he uses water as a means to drift? I have a Civic, but a newer year, and I do the same thing, snow, rain or dry. Bottom line is it's fun and if you're not willing to try stuff like that, you'll never learn anything. I'm willing to put money into repairing whatever breaks. If he's willing to do the same thing, then why complain? It's not your car.
