nice game, im on a high school bowling team here in michigan, yesterday at practice i had the last 6 in my first game and then the next 9 in my second game for a 237 and a 277, i had a 220 as a last game ended up shooting 734

11 in a row is pretty bloody good. my average is 177 but two weeks ago a guy in my league threw the second highest series in Australian history. which included a string of 32 strikes in a row. 279, 300, 297.

No, i have no 300's yet. I have two 299's, a 298, and a 297. I've also had strings of strikes longer than 12 several times, but it's been across two games (obviously). My longest string is 17.

I'll let you know. I live about 10 minutes from edsall now, so that's a possibility. I currently bowl in Falls Church on a summer league with some friends. I'm not doing so well this summer, but I'm coming around. I'm experimenting with a few new techniques to develop my consistency a bit.

I'm not sure how they've been lately -- I haven't bowled there in about six or seven months. But on weekends, they're usually exceptionally dry, and during leagues they're usually exceptionally wet.

I bowl in a league in central Maryland I think the bowling houses in southern Maryland are better/nicer than the ones up here.

It's harder to not get a strike with fat pins and a ball as big as a house. Tenpin is the easiest form of bowling

Just because the scores are higher doesn't mean the game is easier. Candlepin, duckpin: Throw hard, hope pins fall. Tenpin involves consistency and adjustments. There is no way in hell tenpin is the easiest.

Throwing the ball hard doesn't guarantee anything in small ball bowling. In both candlepin and duckpin the ball can fit between the 7 and 8 pins whereas in tenpin that doesn't happen. Yes there is accuracy needed in tenpin of course but not to the degree in the other two. There are many other splits in candlepin that never happen in tenpin.  Tenpin is a game designed for strikes. That's why the ball is big and therefore higher scores. Candlepin is a spares game so accuracy is a premium.

great! thanks for letting us know! its also a lot more fun and takes a lot more than throwing a little ball hard and accurately. it requires different hand tecniques and adjusting to different and many times difficult lane conditions that dont exist in any other form of bowling. so yeah... go fuck yourself child.

The first frame was my first shot of the day, which was a pocket shot and left a 10 pin. I then missed the 10 pin (just because I kinda suck at it).
