  • I WANT JOKER!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO JOKER?!?!?!?!?!

  • The fighting in ME2 is so different from the first game, I remember how frustrated I were at the start. And I missed my inventory and upgrades =(

  • There are a lot fewer containers and lockers in this game than in the prior one, which makes finding them a bit more of a challenge. Some stuff can even be missed permanently, so don't be afraid to stop up and comb through an area.

  • Charge, Schaly, Charge, it gets you upclose and restores you shield

  • i hate the geth plasma shotgun... my favorite is the katana shotgun

  • OH MY GOD I just said to myself when Miranda asked "What is your order" .. "Don't act like a bitch" and then you said it XD ~brain-communication~ Seriously, I hate this girl already

  • @Minako220 Girl-Brain Psychic link activate! xD

  • Wow thank you for this hillarious LP, really 25, 41 minutes of fun. xD

    They should make an Illusive Shaly in ME 3. xD

    There are so many memorable comments from you that I can't count but what i want to ask most is:

    "Mission time, mission time, didididumdum, missiontime" availiable as Ringtone? xD

    PS: One critic - You need to train your combat playing more. xD Use freeze/ lift and then charge attack so you can make instant kills with it. xD

  • The Unity power rezzes AND heals your party (by using up omni-gel). Remember using it to. Heal Wilson's shot leg?

    Also, try to give Miranda a chance. She is a very task-oriented no-nonsense agent. And it'll take some time for her to open up to you. She's almost like a female version of Sten in a way.

  • @angelarts Whoops! I meant medi-gel.

  • @angelarts Ah cool. I'll keep all that in mind. ^_^

  • You definitely need to make liberal use of your companions' abilities in combat (and your own powers too). Miranda's Overload power, for example, can make quick work of droids. And if enemies are too far away, have Jacob use "Pull" to pull them closer towards you. Teamwork is far more essential in this game for survival. And you need to familiarize yourself with how everybody's powers work.

  • @angelarts Oh good idea. Im so used to not using team mates abilities. I'll have to do more of that in the future for sure. ^^

  • @Schaly If you have squad power usage on they will do this automatically. This means that they will always use their powers in combat as soon as they can. The downside is that if you really need one of them to help you out in a critical moment, their power might be on cooldown. :) Also, it's all how you like to play the game, no way is really wrong. :)

  • If you have them on manual power usage however, you can use Q and E button for them to make use of their abilities on the target you currently have targeted (Q for the left squad member, E for the right). Note that they will only use abilities if the ability would be useful on the target. Some abilities, like overload, are great vs. shields for example. So if someone had overload and you pressed Q to make them use a power on a hostile with shields, they would. If they had no shield, then nothing

  • So in short, I would suggest you read the description of you skills and get to know what abilities are good vs what defence (such as armour, barriers, shields). Some powres, like Pull, only works on targets that no longer have any protections.

    I know, it's a lot to soak up and noone here expects you to be a master the first time you play it. The most important thing is to play the game, have fun and if you get the correct attack in sometimes, all the better! =) Good luck!

  • Cover grants you almost invulnerability against attacks that are not from the sides or behind you - watch out for flankers (or take the fight to them). =) Unfortunately, if you are not stuck to cover but only hiding behind it, it only grants minimal cover, even from frontal assaults.

    And it's good to see the shotgun is not the all powerful gun at any range that it was in ME1! =) But I think you'll love the plasma shotgun, I know I did! I written a small novel, time to watch the next episode!

  • @ReclusiarchLP Yes, I need to make super use of cover now. And curse you shorter shotty range. *shakes fist* >.<

  • Your passive skill (Assault Mastery) will make you get more Paragon/Intimidate points, if you're interested in talking people down. Maybe you like to blow them to bits with your shotgun though? =) Trusty Mr. Shotty!

    And I really like Jacob too. He's really honest and I respect that.

    And it was interesting to see you use ME1 tactics in ME2... with predictable outcomes. :D Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it and besides, Vanguard do have a more aggressive play style!

  • I want the Illusive man's office, it's awesome. =) It's going to be interesting to see what skills you're going to choose. There's less of them, but they impact the game more so each skillpoint is a large investment into your character. There's no Charm or Intimidate skill anymore, instead your Paragon or Renegade score will decide wheter you can charm or intimidate someone.

  • Honestly, the Geth Plasma shotgun, in my opinion, is not that great, I prefer giving shotgun users other shotguns.

  • @Linkforlife199 I just like it because I like the medium range on it, which gives it a bit more versitality (especially with the charge up mechanic).But yeah, there's better guns for short range combat for sure! :)

  • @Linkforlife199 It's the only shotgun with a range, making it the only truly viable shotgun for party members aside from maybe Grunt and the only viable shotgun period if you don't use Charge a lot, which I doubt Schaly is like to do.

  • Its so funny how male and female Mates are always the exact opposite of themselves *g*

    Ashley = Harsh, but personal

    Kaidan = Nice, but professional

    Miranda = Icecold

    Jacob = Buddytype^^

  • By the way, as you're like to have noticed, health is now purely regenerative now. You also don't get much of it. I very much recommend overusing any and all cover, at least until (if) you get the hang of the Vanguard's Charge ability.

  • Hahaha. I'm waaay behind in the ME1 vids still, but I felt like checking into this one quick to see if might get confused on the inventory for this first level while trying to take advice about the Geth Plasma Shotgun. Good prediction, turns out. At the beginning of the game you are only allowed default weaponry. Once you find a weapons locker you can nab your extras. And yeah, it'll help with that moderate-ranged combat which you saw yourself doing no damage in.

  • @b09boy LE GASP! I hate that Jacob was taunting me with my shotgun. Thats MINE! *grabby hands*

  • @Schaly Nigga stole yo shotgun. Suddenly I wish you'd gone with pink armor.

  • @b09boy I seriously cracked up reading that! xDDDDDD <3

  • @schaly nice suit you got there ;D hehe :)

  • About time. MORE MASS EFFECT more i say lol

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY MORE ME2!

    *Dances*

  • "can i haz geth shotgun?!"

    i lol'd so much on ur confusion that ur squad only keeps their 2 weapons...

    and it kinda sucked that u didnt get the bonus weapons right off the bat xD

  • @kevynspeed I know T_T *sad panda*

  • I <3 her face. 6:47
