Ok guys, I'm American and bought the film book (Filmbuch) of the movie from amazon.de and had it shipped from Germany. This is recommended for those interested in the complete, accurate script of the entire film. He does say Sie sind at 1:38.  And yes, if your trying to learn German, you quickly realize that Ganz (as Hitler) screams in German here that is very difficult to understand; apparently this was characteristic of Hitler.

@ApolloWasReal - I can't comment about the Swiss German (Schweizerdeutsch) nuances of Ganz though Hitler apparently had a combination Austria/Bavarian accent when speaking normally. But it is when he starts yelling that occasionally it was a bit difficult to understand him. I believe the officer speaking fast is saying: "Mein führer, ich kann nicht zulassen die soldaten nicht beschimpfung...," which actually means "My leader, I cannot allow the soldiers to be insulted..." That's my assumption, at least.

Yeah I think that's pretty close but as soon as he says "die Soldaten" I think the subtitles are correct but I do think that the first part of what you said is correct. I definitely here zulassen in there. If only I could edit the subtitles here on YouTube lol, but I'd have to actually edit the video file. Maybe if enough corrections come up I will. Thank you for your input, though!

Yeah. I finally got the movie on Blu-ray, and my only disappointment is that it has English subs only; I was hoping it would include German subs since I wanna learn to speak German--I can only read it...most of it. This movie has become my favorite besides Shawshank. If you can add more scenes of Der Untergang with German subs, I look forward to watching them, too. :-)

@DarthVato76 You could always try and find a German version of the movie and turn on the subtitles normally. I have no idea where you will be able to find a real version of, "Der untergang," anywhere besides Germany. C;

@XxCoDGOD666xX Even in English language movies with English captions, the captions are often paraphrased for brevity, so I wouldn't be surprised that they would also be paraphrased in a German movie with German captions. I'd like to read the exact German words too, but unfortunately the captions are intended for fluent speakers who are hard of hearing, not those trying to learn the language.
