  • didn't see that knife before. i want it

  • looks expensive

  • Very nice

  • I've paid over 10k in the past year for knives (and I buy high-end guns as well), but I'm not feeling this one.

  • The rc in the nightmare grind tanto is a knife I've coveted since I've been collecting.

  • dam man. they sure look cool but i mean the price when your talking materiels its WAY over priced in my opinion. If they have wobble in the lockup too thats just a shame. dont get me wrong ide like to own one but im not gonna spend that kinda money on a just cool looking knife

  • do you sell your knives?

  • @LRRREF sometimes

  • @customtacticals well i'm looking to buy maybe like an OTF knife or a butterfly but my buget to spend on this knife is low so i was wonderind if you knew about some cheap OTF's or some cheap butterfly's

  • Its called a nightmare because thats what you'll have after spending $1200.00 on a knife that ugly

  • I don't care what anybody says call me a hater if you want, but thats a ridiculous price to pay fore a knife that ugly.

  • it's nightmare for your pocket...

  • VERY NICE! It's funny to read all the hater comments....I learned in life that if some people can't afford something that is really nice....they will bad-mouth it....see it every day...

  • @BROTHEROFKAKUS Yep... classic sour grapes.

  • I think im just gonna go to Lowes. buy a hatchet, and carry it. Because theyre only 15 dollars, weigh as much as that, and probally feels the same to carry :P

  • @MarchingBlueNGold But you won't feel as bad ass.. remember, Striders are "High-Speed Tools For Hardcore Individuals" ... emphasis on HARDCORE.

  • I'm not hating on Strider, but as you mention, the F&F is much better on the customs. But for 400+ dollars for their production blades, I'd expect perfection from the bottom up...

  • @elenchus I totally agree with you there, but for some reason, Strider and a few of the other tactical brands get by with quality construction and lifetime warranties. Strider also will often replace any damaged knife that was broken from misuse too, at least the first time.

  • Would love a raindrop Damascus blade on that for $1200.00

  • I don't know why i just watched this vid again.

thats a fuckin road pirate blade

  • if I could only have one pocket knife during the zombie apocalypse....yep this would be it.

  • $1250.00!!! You can Buy a Sri Lanken Women for that kinda Money!

  • @ZombieOrchestra for that kind of money you can pick up a Benelli so when he pulls out his fuckin 1200 dollar knife, you can pump his ass full of rock salt.

  • @ZombieOrchestra Im actually suprised its not more

  • Dude... you must be very rich! Id have to save for 2 months just to get that knife and that would be the type of saving as in eating bread and water only lolz!

  • for some reason i'd much rather spend this much money on a knife like this than one with ivory and damascus, this looks like a knife you could actually use unlike alot of knives that are this expensive

  • Will it's frame lock come loose if you twist on the handle when it's stuck into something?

  • @adrianrubi learn about the materials used and its properties- it would be impossible for a human to twist titanium(this knifes lock) and still be difficult with tools.

  • hey if your ever going to sell that knife i will buy it i really want it how much would you sell it for if you sell it

  • I own this knife and its a dream. Not only is it just an awesome knife to look at and hold its quality. Yes expensive but I bought one. I carry it almost everyday but I do get worried about it being lost or stolen... Normally carry Emerson blades if I don't carry this one.

  • @thrasher123 if you ever wanna get rid of it. Let me know :)

  • This knife is awesome, the pattern on it is just way to cool

  • Very cool knife.

Although I know that the price is whatever you are able to pay,I figure that I can get three seperate Zero tolerance(just as strong with assisted opening) knifes and a Glock .45 for the cost of this baby.

  • Nice short review.

  • People are shallow... they buy strider's for the looks, not the features. Sure a strider will preform, but for 1250$, I can get a semi-custom 1911, a nice AR-15, a milled AK... the list goes on. Seems like a pointless waste of money to me, but I guess whatever floats your boat. It IS cool looking, but If I were going to get a 1250$ blade I'd get a Blackwood hands down.

  • most J.A. Harkins knives are 2k+.. $1250 is a reasonable price for this knife.

  • I'm going to sell my car and buy that knife

  • where did you get it?

  • I want one of these too...

  • looks a bit like a zero tollerance, especially the handle.

  • @NAPALMJUNKY Strider helped design all of the 03xx series of zero tolerance.

  • hey bro...the swedge is called a trisula...its used in knife fighting...look up what its used for...badass

  • back cuts are nice on knives that size

  • How much does this knife cost?

  • if you have to ask....

    you cant afford it.

  • @powderkid thats not true at all haha.

  • @powderkid That logic is terribly flawed. It helps to know how much something costs, so you can pay the person the correct amount. ^^

  • @jakoki58

1250 a long time ago!!! who knows now??

  • Don't know where I can find one of these do you? I have looked the web over and talked to them at the Blade Show- still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

  • This is the baddest scariest knife I ever seen

  • man i got this nife i love the blade the nightmare is so kool and i think it the one strider i had to get al over great knife

  • INCREDIBLE knife! I'm not the world's biggest Strider fan, but this knife design is outstanding. The price tag is shocking...but still, amazing.

  • Great review on a great knife!

    Thanks

  • radioactive thumb studs? lmao

  • yea lol, tritium is radioactive but quite safe. Those thumb studs have some tritium incased in glass(probably) that's coated with phosphorus. The tritium makes the phosphorus glow and it has a half life of about 12 years IIRC.

  • Great Review. I'm going to the Blade Show this week and will see if I can find one of these.

    Appreciate it.

  • that should be quite a circus of people.

  • Great knife but cost way too much. Nice review.

  • i Like strider and RC cool video 5/5

  • Wow.. what an exceptional knife.. I'm a huge fan of the RC... that one really takes it to another level! Congrats!

    -D

  • were is ur favorite place to buy strider folders like this one?

  • Awesome blade but that price is out of control.

  • great looking knife!

the texture/colour of the blade is beautifull!

  • damn expensive... who the hell pays that much?

  • Only if I won the lottery...

  • The scallop on the spine of the blade makes that a Trisula. It is a knife fighting technique wherein the spine of the blade is racked up the opponents arm, then flips the blade into the tricep when the spine hits the elbow. I had the same knife only with the striped finish... freaking huge tank of a knife!!

  • any idea on exact weight? Looks awesome, you must have a crapload of cash to get all these sexy knives!

  • great knife, awesome review, 5/5

  • nice review! I wish I could get my hands on the NiTinol SMF that goes for $2200+ lol

  • love the term NIGHTMARE. how fitting.

  • Nice knife, excellent review...but...mmm... i wonder...for that amount of money i could buy a Glock 19 and a Sebenza and still have left some change left....

  • $1250 holy shit

  • Very cool knife.

  • you're especially energetic in this review.

    great knife btw.

  • Its definitely cooler looking when the blade is extended. Otherwise it looks like a brick.

  • Awesome knife
