dam man. they sure look cool but i mean the price when your talking materiels its WAY over priced in my opinion. If they have wobble in the lockup too thats just a shame. dont get me wrong ide like to own one but im not gonna spend that kinda money on a just cool looking knife
@customtacticals well i'm looking to buy maybe like an OTF knife or a butterfly but my buget to spend on this knife is low so i was wonderind if you knew about some cheap OTF's or some cheap butterfly's
VERY NICE! It's funny to read all the hater comments....I learned in life that if some people can't afford something that is really nice....they will bad-mouth it....see it every day...
I think im just gonna go to Lowes. buy a hatchet, and carry it. Because theyre only 15 dollars, weigh as much as that, and probally feels the same to carry :P
I'm not hating on Strider, but as you mention, the F&F is much better on the customs. But for 400+ dollars for their production blades, I'd expect perfection from the bottom up...
@elenchus I totally agree with you there, but for some reason, Strider and a few of the other tactical brands get by with quality construction and lifetime warranties. Strider also will often replace any damaged knife that was broken from misuse too, at least the first time.
@ZombieOrchestra for that kind of money you can pick up a Benelli so when he pulls out his fuckin 1200 dollar knife, you can pump his ass full of rock salt.
Dude... you must be very rich! Id have to save for 2 months just to get that knife and that would be the type of saving as in eating bread and water only lolz!
for some reason i'd much rather spend this much money on a knife like this than one with ivory and damascus, this looks like a knife you could actually use unlike alot of knives that are this expensive
@adrianrubi learn about the materials used and its properties- it would be impossible for a human to twist titanium(this knifes lock) and still be difficult with tools.
I own this knife and its a dream. Not only is it just an awesome knife to look at and hold its quality. Yes expensive but I bought one. I carry it almost everyday but I do get worried about it being lost or stolen... Normally carry Emerson blades if I don't carry this one.
Although I know that the price is whatever you are able to pay,I figure that I can get three seperate Zero tolerance(just as strong with assisted opening) knifes and a Glock .45 for the cost of this baby.
People are shallow... they buy strider's for the looks, not the features. Sure a strider will preform, but for 1250$, I can get a semi-custom 1911, a nice AR-15, a milled AK... the list goes on. Seems like a pointless waste of money to me, but I guess whatever floats your boat. It IS cool looking, but If I were going to get a 1250$ blade I'd get a Blackwood hands down.
Don't know where I can find one of these do you? I have looked the web over and talked to them at the Blade Show- still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
yea lol, tritium is radioactive but quite safe. Those thumb studs have some tritium incased in glass(probably) that's coated with phosphorus. The tritium makes the phosphorus glow and it has a half life of about 12 years IIRC.
The scallop on the spine of the blade makes that a Trisula. It is a knife fighting technique wherein the spine of the blade is racked up the opponents arm, then flips the blade into the tricep when the spine hits the elbow. I had the same knife only with the striped finish... freaking huge tank of a knife!!
Nice knife, excellent review...but...mmm... i wonder...for that amount of money i could buy a Glock 19 and a Sebenza and still have left some change left....
didn't see that knife before. i want it
