The vocals and prescence of the brother are amazing and refreshing, kinda like his boy Raheem Devaughn. Can't wait for him to come to Detroit. I gotta say though that the asian woman and the end of the video made me stand up.
I love this video! I'm sure many brothers see themselves in this video. I damn sure do, (lol). It's only an expression. Everyone should learn to love instead of hate. And most people don't know a damn thing about love except hearing and saying the word.
The brother made a deep expression on this song and whoever doesn't like it need to put

i understand and respect opinions. thats the beauty of life and music. you can choose what you like and dont like. thanks for the love and hate. thats simply the balance of it all. no need to call folks names and what not. peace, w.ellington felton
the only peaice of trash up here is you @ss whole , this music is goood and its real and you arent ust to real music because you are so stupid, your brin is trash you personality... trash this video and song a master peice
this song and video is so amazing to me. i watch it everyday. thank you so much for posting this vid. i hope this brotha go far. what a great talent...
i love the video.... plus i can understand where dub is coming from and with the things he says.... i think dub is the man.... p.s. thanks for "a dub supreme" i have been listening to it ever since you gave it to me @ joes' pub in nyc...thanks love ya
it was a comment directed to a young lady who was going through some stuff. plus, the comment was about "dating". not marriage or culture. she was placing brothas as the source, so i gave her an alternative. sometimes stepping away from something makes you appreciate it more or you discover new life. i would have typed that if i knew she was the spokewoman for all sistas.
Im not a sista but even if I was u shouldent get offended by what Dub ell did or didnt say! stay up dub ell you the shit and I love the lyrics on Funky Feeling.
Oh my bad i jumped in that Dub E too quick! lol! At least you see i am down to defend a brotha! lol! I will place this vdieo on our site when we get your CD's. The hook is the SHIT!! Been saying it for days.
yep. we were on a very tight time situation. we shot the video in various sequences in 24 hours. the kitchen scene was shot first the evening before the street scenes. i will take full blame for not using the backpack when we shot those scenes. i forgot to grab it.....
I must be very shallow because I missed the whole race relation thing entirely. I simply viewed it as an emotional documentary on the break down of communication in relationships. The only issue that I had was the disappearing back pack. Please forgive me for being a technical person ;) Shallow but technical
this will be the last time i address this but, the statement is being taken out of context. sorry for your hurt. i'm very relaxed, i have a very fine sista who treats me well right now. and now that i am single, i am free to meet others.
Hold up!! Gotta defend the brotha! He is personally hurt. You cant take what he is saying personally right now. I have talked to more than one sista who said the same thing.
a conversation with ONE person does not equate to an ENTIRE race. but, a person who puts a spin on a sarcastic conversation in a club and post it on a video page to cater to their issues is "Funky". looks like you need turn a mirror on your own comment. "hurt us"? - w.ellington felton-
@chapel2 I'm confused. Is he saying that he is fed up with sistas? I hope not because I respect him as a artist. But if he IS saying that, let it go. He could be hurting or confused. There are many days when I am fed up with brothas. So let the brother express himself.
He's not saying that he's fed up with sistas, in fact, it is a cry out to women of color to stop holding on to the mentality that they can do it alone. We have to get back to our original places of honor in each others eyes & realize that the dis-connect black men & women have developed over the last two to three decades is destroying our relationships. That's my take on it anyway!
I agree with you. Black men and women have been holding on to alot of anger towards one another. It needs to stop. Forgiveness is important. Hopefully people are willing to do it.
im still listening to this song..its Dec, 2011!!! i love it. Eb
