it's going to sound so strange hearing this form me but i actually prefer hearing you play this than Tommy himself. Yes tommy is the creator and he plays it flawlessly but, you seem to add this extra element into it. This sort of gentle warm feeling which sort of reaches out. Really aspiring piece which i intend to learn now after hearing you play it. Great job scott
hey scott my man !! happy new dude! just wanna ask you about those strings on that guitar, i don't have an electric acoustic, but do you think my acoustic guitar would sound much better if i did change the strings like your elixir nanoweb phosphor bronze? thanks...
hey thanks princewilson. happy new year to you too. i think all new strings sound good its just that the elixir nanoweb phosphor bronze strings sound better for a longer time and even better after they are broken in which is unusual for guitar strings.
You obviously care a great deal about playing and do it well. I don't mean to be insulting, but it's a shame your camera positioning isn't as good as your playing!! I'd love to see you repost this and be able to see your left hand! Help me out here! You're a super guitarist and do Tommy very well! Thanks!
Sounds very similar to his Maton, especially when you play like him (very well, I might add). What are you using for amplification (processing)?
I played a 412 once that was astonishing. Couldn't believe how much more I liked the less expensive Taylors than the expensive ones.
Tommy keeps his necks very straight, which is how he gets that awesome fret growl when he lays into certain chords (not in this song), and I'm sure it gives him electric-like action, which lets him shred acoustically.
this is an old video so i was only using the webcam mic built into the laptop. yea the 400 series taylors are the best sounding in my opinion. anything higher is waay overpriced and doesnt sound any better if not worse.
Congratulation from France.
Your video are amazing and help us to learn thx.
Have u learn endless road? That's hard to find good tabs from this piece.
bye

really nice job. I like the pace...the feel of it. I tried that 2nd chord with my 1 11/16" nut and couldn't get it clean....had to go to my 1 7/8"
