Its a Buddhist symbol... its more of a sound then a word.. Om is what it actually is and putting the sound out is in fact a prayer but also just looking at the symbol itself is a prayer. I forget which deity but its the one of compassion... very meaningful symbol, arguably the biggest of Buddhism.. anyways I suggest looking it up.

nope... :( my battery died and memory card ran out of space! although she started talking about being freaked out by other peoples' tattoos when they were laying together in their "skin coats"... haahaha... it was pretty hilarious. i think she meant it was weird because SHE has tattoos, and so the similarity was too much.

yeah, your filming is good. sometimes you cut off their heads but regardless the audio is there and that's all that really matters when you think about it.

and i must say that i am completely envious of you having seen at least 40+ t&s shows AND getting them ALL on video!!! its amazing.

lol... thanks! a while ago it became my personal mission to film as much as possible. people tell me that i need to get a hobby... and i tell them that it IS my hobby! i'm already plotting for september... i need tour dates!! ;-D

question: have you ever thought about getting a new camera? this one is good but with this being your hobby don't you think a better camera would better the experience?

yeah, i negotiated three weeks off of work before i start my next job in september, so wherever they go the first three weeks of september, i will be!!

and actually yes, i've been looking to upgrade... just recently got a new camera but i'm not too satisfied with the far away video, so i might be able to work something out. trouble is there are SO many cameras that i just don't even know where to start. i'm taking suggestions, though.

for the concert i went to a few weeks ago, i bought a canon powershot S3 IS and recommend it but would highly recommend getting the cannon powershot g7 because it handles the base a lot better. plus having either (a canon, really) you're allowed to zoom as you film, though it does auto-focus the vid's turn out really well.

nice, i was looking at the G7. people have been able to give me advice about the pictures, but i was wondering how the cameras handled concert videos. a friend who works at best buy recommended one of the new nikon cool pics cameras because it's 10 megapixels, 5x zoom, and has 2000 ISO (and it's teeny, which was a downside of the G7). i don't know how it does videos though. you familiar at all?

p.s. have you actually gotten to try filming with a G7? i keep asking people at camera stores about it and they keep giving me different opinions! how am i ever supposed to pick something based on that?!?

p.s. good suggestion... if you didn't notice, i ended up getting a G7 and that's what all my newer vids are filmed with! :)
