Most boyracers power brake - they hold their foot on the brake and floor it while the rear tires spin.

The real way to do it is to install line locks on the front brakes so the front wheels hold you from moving.

@454sskilla Yes regular tuneups keep an engine healthy thats true but what happens when you supercharge an engine healthy or not is that the revs, and you will rev it, will kill the valvetrain!! lifters, cam, rockers, pushrods wont put up with the abuse!!! 454 is a lower revving engine with lots of cubes designed for torque at lower revs!! anyhow good luck man!!!

all it has is the 3.73s cold air intake throlle body spacer true dual exhaust no cats.. any time i race i manually shift it and i hit da gears at 5800 i dont let it redline. and i got the 5.3 my tires are in good shape. when i power brake it i hold it all the way and then give it gas and slowly start releasing da brake a little then start hittn it harder and releiving da brake a little more tilll the trucks turning them hard core!!

Yeah, G80, 3.73:1, 2004 Avalanche.

I did it with really light brake, just enough to keep the front stopped, even tried hitting it at a light roll and then stop, no go. First gear is something I didn't try, I only attributed it to the system knowing what I was trying to do and the drive by wire just not engaging the plate as much as I was requesting.

I will try the first gear thing.

ok, big thick tread tires will also stop you too, so unless its a weak all terrain or regular tire it wont be easy to turn. & yeah doing burnouts in drive isn't good, it will shift & go up as far as 3rd gear and can mess the trans up. put it in first, do it, pop up to 2nd if you wish for more speed but dont go higher, ride it off & put it in drive when you let off the gas
