Listen to the thing it does not like it at all, the tires are not turning that fast unless you have not seen more than this burnout. Besides have him try that a few more times the clutch pads in his G80 will be gone by then, it will one tire it like a bastard.

I did it with really light brake, just enough to keep the front stopped, even tried hitting it at a light roll and then stop, no go. First gear is something I didn't try, I only attributed it to the system knowing what I was trying to do and the drive by wire just not engaging the plate as much as I was requesting.
ok, big thick tread tires will also stop you too, so unless its a weak all terrain or regular tire it wont be easy to turn. & yeah doing burnouts in drive isn't good, it will shift & go up as far as 3rd gear and can mess the trans up. put it in first, do it, pop up to 2nd if you wish for more speed but dont go higher, ride it off & put it in drive when you let off the gas

Most boyracers power brake - they hold their foot on the brake and floor it while the rear tires spin.
The real way to do it is to install line locks on the front brakes so the front wheels hold you from moving.

Yeah, G80, 3.73:1, 2004 Avalanche.
