  • Hmm the top rated comments have nothing to do with the video shown, ironically 9/11 is only mentioned in passing in this interview and not actually discussed. Must be the result of an organised effort of Jim Fetzer haters who posted this video on some "debunkers" forum.

If there's any criticism to be done here it should be reserved for the interviewer who constantly interrupts Fetzer in an effort to prove that he's educated and intelligent too.

  • The Postmodernism Generator is a computer program that automatically generates postmodern essays. Gramatically correct but meaningless.

Now watch a college gaduate reviewing a computer generated essay. He has no clue of its true origin.

    A must see.

  • @concussedcarneous "you're not allowed to study simple fucking physics"

Only some ignorant teenage Truther would swallow the phony "physics" pimped by this drunken old fraud, who never took a science class in his life.

But since Truthies never took any science either, they can't tell the difference between a physicist and a ditchdigger.

  • @concussedcarneous "you even barely got your diploma"

It's always easy to spot you posers that never took a Physics class in your life.

So your considered scientific opinion is that soft things can't damage hard things? Is that simple-minded enough for you?

Amazing how water and air destroy whole buildings and cities, or how paint guns drive paint right through skin on injection injuries.

Or do you think aluminum is softer than water or air?

  • @BlazingFerret "soft things can't damage hard things?"

It’s a good thing lead is so soft and bone is so hard, otherwise guns could really hurt somebody.

Just further proof that the ignorant kids in the Truther Cult were all jerking off in the bathroom when they should have been sitting in a science class.

  • @BlazingFerret "Enlighten us, then, on which part of the formula for energy transmission represents the relative hardness"

It looks like this little monkey decided to run off after he got caught pretending to understand physics.

  • @concussedcarneous "isn't randy all about money?"

Randi has given most of his money away, endowing foundations that expose fraudulent bullshit like the Truthy cult.

Unlike Fetzer and Jones, who know nothing at all about engineering, are too stupid to learn, but still make a fortune pimping books and videos to uneducated little suckers.

  • @MsgtSpook "Fetzer ... still make[s] a fortune pimping books and videos to uneducated little suckers"

Since Fetzer disgraced himself and everyone laughs at him, no university will hire him anymore.

He's been pimping out books & videos on wild-ass conspiracy nuttiness for many years. It's how he makes his money, and has been for a long time.

  • moonlanding was as fake as could be...

  • Fetzer has NO science degrees at all, just in history & "philosophy of science."

Believes 8 + gunmen were in Dealey Plaza, huge govt plot

Believes moon landing was a fake

Believes "directed energy wpns" brought down the WTC.

No wonder the Truthies hump his leg. He's as loony as they are.

  • "You still can't get around the fact that this old fraud hasn't got any credentials in ANY science, let alone engineering, but still passes himself off as having knowledge & skill in analyzing structural failures"

Why would anyone ask a computer geek to analyze a structural engineering issue?

Of course since they can't find any structural engineers who will embarrass themselves by publishing a paper supporting this silly shit, the Truthies have to scrounge up whatever nutjob is for sale.

  • Why is anyone even listening to this ass-clown, whose only education or experience has been as a computer software geek? His lucrative sideline for decades has been selling every crackpot conspiracy theory he can find, to any uneducated sucker with a buck.

He thinks Lee Harvey Oswald had a twin that shot JFK, believes 8+ gunmen were in Dealey Plaza, believes the moon landing was a fake, & believes "directed energy weapons" brought down the WTC.

He's a joke, and Truthers are the punchline.

  • Fetzer has been making money from conspiracy crap for a long time!!!

Now 9/11 is his source of income. Look into why this asshole does what he does!!

"Inside Job" theories are just like Holocaust denier arguments!!!

Have a look at this idea for settling the debate!!

Cut and paste the following into your URL on youtube!

And check my channel for information that will improve your understanding of 9/11!

Humantidote is my name and real truth is my aim!!

  • the audio sucks

  • Wow. This interviewer really thinks he knows a lot but actually knows nothing.

  • I woudnt normally say it but, it being 4/20/07, somthing tells me the doc was baked for this interview.

  • Hard to believe this phony piece of crap is still making money pimping conspiracies to the gullible illiterate.

Considering he hasn't got a trace of credentials in any hard science, let alone structural mechanics, his opinion about the collapse of WTC is about as valuable as the janitor's.

He's been promising his adoring followers for years that he's on the verge of publishing in an academic journal to "prove" this nonsense. Still waiting, but SciAM & Jrnl of Engrg Mechanics are, too.

  • "Describing Fetzer as a "phony piece of crap" is being way too kind"

    Very true.

He glosses over the fact that he has NO science degrees at all, just in history & "philosophy of science."

Believes 8 + gunmen were in Dealey Plaza, huge govt plot

Believes moon landing was a fake

Believes "directed energy wpns" brought down the WTC.

I think he's still a no-planer, claiming there were no planes at the WTC, just fake videos by all the news crews & private photographers that day.

    Complete loon.

  • Fetzer's apologists can parse phrases til they're blue in the fucking face --

You still can't get around the fact that this old fraud hasn't got any credentials in ANY science, let alone engineering, but still passes himself off as having knowledge & skill in analyzing structural failures.

Yeah, like my janitor. And neither does his ludicrous "collaborator," Griffin -- a fucking Theology professor !

Small wonder that no published structural engineering paper on the subject backs him.

  • @ReemYakrevice so what about A&E for 911 Truth then?

  • @gontsaru

You might also ask why this old fool Fetzer, who never had an engineering class in his life, feels qualified to pontificate on structural engineering & demolition, when he has no credentials in either field.

Don't they have any real engineers? Or are they too busy adjusting their tinfoil hats?

  • The so-called 'Comprehensivists' are Philosophers. The 'Ph' of a 'PhD' is Philosophy.

  • Memes are a bunk notion.

  • why? (I half agree with you but want some convincing)

  • They suppose that culture consists of discrete informational instructions that are transferred from "head to head"and replicated -- this makes culture a primarily mentalistic notion, based on an overextenion of computer and information theoretic metaphors and neglects the lived contexts of the body in the environment.

  • But does culture consist of discrete informational instructions that are passed from head to head? Probably not. If it did you would see lots of identical behaviors and identical expression of thought, when you do not -- you see similarity. Learning would be much easier and more routine if it were a simple replication or information transfer process. What consists of a discrete bundle that is transferred.

  • Most notions and behaviors are dependent on others and exist in a dependent network, so there can be no atomic transfers-- there are no "irreducible" elements of culture.

  • Ok you make some good points. But is it fair to assume that the informational structures which are transferred are near perfect replications (like genes). Couldn't memetic transfer involve vaguer notions of resemblance such as isomorphic relations which hold on some levels but not others?

  • cultural memes vs genetic genes...ontology, entropy, trancendance, extinction, sustainability, polination, exponents, police states, infinity...
