  • Ever seen a Franklin 1000 ? Sort of an Apple "wanna be". I bought one and had it for over 30 years. A few years ago, I threw it away with a box load of disk. Should have given it to you. Great collection.

  • i love your coleccion man :)

  • First computer I came in contact with was a Tandy DOS CPU from about 1985-86, came with PC/Keyboard built together and had that square like joy stick with red button on it. These was fairly priced back then to. You can get Viruses on old PCs like this before the internet, they were called monkey viruses which would some how pop up on old unused floppy disk.

  • Holy crap I have that same shelfing unit!

  • I am jealous!

  • Keep them for your grandchildren .

  • Wow...nice collection

  • small collection, but you should be proud none the less.

  • Those computers wuz tanks,, never heard back then, all the Viruses u hear about now,, seems like nowadays,,,openin up an email will eat up ur new computer!!

  • that's a typewriter collection, hello

  • btw, how old are you?, hello!

  • how u play halo with those?? lmao jk

  • I play Crysis on one of those

  • holy-terrorist:>*=* ? 0:16 is PS3, Playstation 3, eh ben *=*

  • I like the way the old and new technology combines! A PS3 and a Commodore 64...I have an Atari 130 XE and a Xbox 360 in my room and it´s sooo fun! I could play Gears 2 or Montezuma if I want! ;)

  • I have the Atari 400 also

  • The PS3 of the 80's.

  • yeh seriously !

    ahahaha

  • ....eh? PS3 is a console, those are the real deal.

  • @Borin81 Meh. I love Atari 2600 and NES, but I find that computers have more variety, and have better graphics and sound then consoles of the same period.

  • @TeamRocketReviews LOL sorry, i meant to say "PS3 is a console, those computers are the real deal."

  • For whatever reason, they look tasty.

Like, if you were going to eat a computer, you'd eat those first.

  • My brother got a tandy color computer 2 for xmas back around 84 and I remember it was the 1st computer I had any dealings with. I was only 5 or 6 at the time but to this day I remember that smell when he got it out of the box and watching the programs he would get going with it. I think it was directly competing with the commodore 64 and the specs were very close between those 2 machines.

  • cool! i bought one off a website!

  • I need to get me an 8-bit computer for old time sake!

  • I saw your videos on the old tube radios. I actually almost bought one at my local vendors mall for like $20 but didn't. It was missing the little panel that goes over the back that covers the tubes. It was a philco If memory serves. As far as getting an old computer if you want one to play with then I recommend the commodore 64 or tandy color computer 2.

  • Where is the old 90's nintendo and the sega master sistem????? good job

  • I have probably a 100 nes systems and 3 or 4 master systems.

  • i have both and i have the com 64

  • all those old computers......and a playstation box.

  • i have a tandy color computer 2 just like the one on there it is only 64k ram

  • Cool. Yeah my brother got one for xmas back in 82-84 somewhere in there and it was the 1st computer I came in contact with. I love the book they come with with the computer with stick legs and arms tutoring you how to use the computer.

  • yeah i know tha manual i love it to

  • my newest toy since the playstation 3 is the hp blackbird002 im on it now ...wow its gigantic

  • where do you get this stuff?

  • ebay

  • nice ...ps3 box next to the old stuff

  • Nice collection.

    The 800XL is 32k, while the 600XL is 16k.

I really need to get a 400 and 800 for my own collection.

The old modem type was called an acoustic data coupler, which usually ran at 300 baud, and the old computers were usually programmed using built in versions of BASIC.

  • I still have an atari 800xl, I think it had about 16 kb of RAM!

  • yea but whats the IT angle?

  • Actually back in 83 they did have modems you could buy and sit the phone reciever on it like in the movie wargames. It wasn't the internet but it did provide communicating back and forth like present day emails.

  • computers? they don't even have monitors! do you connect them to the tv or sometheng?

  • Yeah, this was back in the good ole days when you hooked them up to your little $500 13" B&W telly.

  • ok. so what do you really do with it other than play games? write reports or essays?

  • You can actually program shit on these little 64k machines. Something as simple as a ball bouncing across the screen or even more if you have the time and patience.

  • so... it deos animations and stuff like that? it wouldn't happen to have internet or email, would it? hehehe

  • lol ps3

  • wow

    I have a TRS80:CoCo2,model3,and model100

I also have a mac classic 2 and commodore 16

but the commodore 16's mother board is shorted out I supose
