Nice. today my engineering teacher brought in a stove he made when he was in high school. It was pretty similar to this except it could also be used as a meat smoker or grill, with the wood underneath the meat at the bottom of the stove

@danmc82 Hi mate...I made this burner out of 3mm plate...it works fine..gets really red hot ( cant touch the burner when in full use ) even the flue gets really warm upto half way up which also throws a lot of heat out aswell....keeps the workshop just right in winter....I also boil water with a flat bottom kettle on top and cook food on a small frying pan.....lovely.
