Where are the magnets to repell the rotor ?
Or does it use the earth magnetic field for this ???

@overunitydotcom The magnets facing both north towards the tips. Therefore, the iron base plate has a south pole and it can run.

Now that is very cool, I would bet you could get an improved performance by using a small convex mirror to give sunlight to both sides of the motor and not at just one angle.
